Which vaguely means, "Dewy, fragrant violets pretty you yourselves you stay shy half hidden among the leaves and you rebuke the (my) wishes which are too ambitious."

Its actually a very simple aria to interpret. If you're trying to sound like Tebaldi in this recording then I can see why it would be hard. Her legato and breath control are perfection here so don't compare yourself :) I'm sure you will do or did well!

Dear friend, I bought it several years ago (in 2003) in Berlin. It belongs to a double cd of decca called "Songs and Arias" of renata tebaldi. I'm sure you can order it on Amazon. The whole two cd's are really exquisite and delightful, as you can listen in this example.
