  • The SNES version had a great soundtrack overall, but this track and E1M3 are the standouts, IMO.

  • Thumbs up if you think that the doom guy is Master Chief's dad.

  • THE JAG DIDNT HAVE MUSIC THEY MADE A SOUNDTRACK FOR IT geez know everyone shut up!

  • SNES: the best!

    3DO: very cool

PC: 2nd place of the best at doom's gate

    Jaguar: quacking ducks

    GBA: not the worst

    32X: piece of shit!

  • @mariogamer298 Dude PC is the best!

  • @greatgnomex Depends on which instruments your MIDI device has. Sound cards from the 90's had different MIDI instrument set than ones of today. Super Nintendo's will always sound badass.

  • @mariogamer298 obviously you never played the pc version and snes version to say the snes is the best. Take a look at any videos of Doom for snes here on youtube. That pile of garbage runs at 8 fps, and it got no floor and no ceiling. The 32x version have bad music, yes, but at least it is fucking PLAYABLE.

  • @mariogamer298 yeah, but in cosnsole gaming the sega 32x was almost the same like the pc one.

  • "beep"..."beep"

  • reminds me of a slayer song from their first album...antichrist.. no?

  • @igg73 A lot of music from DooM was inspired by heavy metal artists, deeply by Slayer. I haven't heard "Antichrist", but I imagine it will sound similar ^^

  • I love how atmospheric the Super Nintendo soundtrack of this game sounds.

  • @TheDjangoMoore Emm Actually even AVGN said there's no music in the gameplay

  • DOOM SNES > CoD MW3

  • @devilkhan8 YES. It's SO true. You sir, have made the best comment I've seen all day.

  • @devilkhan8 DOOM SNES>A LIFE>A GIRLFRIEND>MW3

  • Master Of Puppets?????

  • @qwertyuiophj Not, is Painkiller (Judas Priest)

  • Shit snes not sneak

  • How come the sneak version has the best music

  • Epic shit man

  • Ahh yes, good old FPS games where you could neither jump nor look around. She be a classic tho.

  • This is the best theme out of them all!!!!!!

  • snes music are better then pc music I.M.O

  • IDDQD

  • @HellowCZ IDBEHOLD

  • Tututurutu turu tuturu tutururu Wake up Son!! get out of the bed!! Tututurutu turu tuturu tutururu

  • @SuperBrain1997 just write (If you sleep in at my house, you are "Doom"ed.)

  • @NitzMr88 thx

  • WAKE UP SON... GOOD MORNIN! DUDUDU DUDU DUDUDU DU DUDUDU!!! xD

  • @Deroni76 :3

  • I own the SNES PAL version. Pretty awesome game with an awesome soundtrack.

In fact, i'm a bit jealous. WHY IS THE PAL CARDRIDGE NOT RED? *cry*

  • @KSpeedy1989 maybe you can spray it red xd

  • Somehow this is very, very dark compared to the MIDI version. The lower guitar synth keys sound like a dark, ominous synth just humming in a sustained manner. Then when the guitars play in harmony, it gets an even more evil tone to it. Wicked.

  • man i wish there was a way to play doom on pc with a super nintendo sound chip

  • 3DO:AWESOME COOL REMIXES

    snes:original with high quality

PSX/saturn:completely different than compared to the others (horror music)

32x:sounds good when your in the bath room

    jaguar:i like ducks

    GBA:screwed up 8-bit music

amiga:idk but not many ppl never heard about doom being on the amiga PC

    zx spectrum:awesome 8-bit music

    original xbox:slightly slower than PC

360:sounds slower than PC and more atarish

  • This song= Behind the crooked cross by slayer.

  • @IronMooRe FAIL, E1M1 = Chorus from No Remorse

  • @GAMESJUEGOSSIERRA23 Wrong, Behind the crooked cross by slayer. Listen to it. U will see

  • @IronMooRe Behind The Crooked Cross intro = E3M3 intro. No Remorse Chorus = E1M1

  • My Opinions on the versions of At Doom's Gate

3DO: Makes me want to beat the unholy fuck out of demons

    Original: Really Cool!

Jaguar: Um, It's Okay I guess

Super Nintendo: My favorite! To Quote SuperMechaDeathChrist: FUCKERS!

Gameboy Advance: Sounds too slow. It's not the best but its not....

    Sega 32X: The Worst!

  • @nicholascooney Nevermind, didn't realize the music actually existed in the Jaguar version. Just, not in the actual gameplay. XD

  • @nicholascooney what about PS and Sega Saturn Versions?

  • @nicholascooney but the avgn mentioned that doom on the jaguar doesn't have misic, so he called it "silent doom".

  • @nicholascooney I thought that Jaguar version didin't have music

  • @Samuli385 Atari Jaguar version of Doom was lame in the fact that it did not play music during game play... all of the music was there... but it only played after you hit the switch and finished the level.

  • @nicholascooney the jaguar version didnt have music

  • 'Doom' and 'Quake' are like the two Godfathers to all other shoot 'em ups you have had since, still get today and will get in the future.

  • @SDPaldora1 I believe Wolfenstein 3D was the first Godfather of all shoot'em ups. Probably not the most popular, but it was the first.

  • @TheDevilbuster wf 3d laid the ground work, doom created the giant inventory system, weapon sway, online multiplayer, and trials in the form of a share ware model.duke nukem 3d made weapons that did more than just kill, created a character witha personality, and made hip-fire,melee's,and grenades the norm.and halo fucked everything up.

  • This sounds shit.

  • top 5 worst doom ports

5-original xbox (1 theirs is a bug and 2 very easy cheat codes)

4-GBA (crappy music and no bosses also censorship)

3-sega saturn (its a reversed version of the PSX port with low frame rate)

2-3DO (a reversed version of the jaguar port with rly low frame rate and small screen but music kick ass)

1-32x (farting music-half levels missing-no bosses-no BFG9000 its a reversed version of the snes port)

  • top 5 doom port

5-jaguar (very accurate frame rate and graphics)

4-snes (great music and playable also most accurate port of all 90s doom ports)

3-PC (its where doom was 1st born at)

2-xbox 360 (music is slower and more atarish but is sounds slitely better than PC also slightly better graphics)

1-PSX (horror music-extra darkness-nice colorful colors-runs faster than PC and the gameplay is just insane)

  • ITS TIME TO KICK SOME MOTHERFUCKING ASS!!!!

  • Master Cheif comes onto an alien plant with an army behind him and a ASSload of guns. Doomguy comes into Hell, alone, with a peashooter and his bare fists.

i think we are all in agreement who wins

  • @chance531 yeah, the doom marine. :D he could kick anyone's ass any day.

  • Sounds like an orchestra of demons LOL

  • This game still RULEZ

  • This version turns me on just as much as the PC, because I played them both in the 90's. However, 3d0 version is just juicy.

  • in my humble opinian this is the best doom port all the other ports are garbige, except the gba versoin

  • Super Mecha Death Christ: Fuckers!

  • @nicholascooney FUCKERSSSSS!!!!!

  • @tacovshotdog WATCH THAT FUCKING LANGUAGE!

  • is it me, or does this sound a little like Master of Puppets?

  • @Darkdealer651 Its actually no remorse by metallica

  • Ya know the SNES port doesn't have the lowest frame rate. It's actually the Sega Saturen, I've never played the console version of Doom cuz i have it on my iPod but since the SNES is 16-bit i guess it is bad.

  • @SethTheArcticFox92

    Doom is Halo's father.

You know the kind of father that beats you in everything no matter what?

    Yeah, that kind of father.

  • @Skrulzie

The kind of dad that shows you up in the competitions at Father/Son picnics. :P

  • I bought the Game off amazon And my dad got pissed because He didn't want me to Play it, That was until I explained to him I've seen scarier... Don't watch sex & the city!

  • doom born on PC

    snes- large improvement of 16-bit

32x- the opposite of the snes port

    3DO- a huge disappointment

jaguar- great graphics but no music during the gameplay (their is music but only in the stats screen)

GBA- almost looks exactly like the jaguar port but crappy music

sega saturn- doom 1 and 2 put together how awesome but low framerate

PSX- best of all doom ports same as sega saturn but better framerate and nice awesome colors and darkness

  • @killkenny5000 But you've got to admit that the 3do had the best music. Especially E1M1. Just a shame that the gameplay lagged so much that it was unplayable.

  • @AlexGRFan97 yeah thats why i put the 3DO port in 2nd place for worst doom pors ever

why in 2nd place cuz of the great music :)

number 1 of worst doom ports ever would be 32x :l half missing levels - crappy music - NO BFG9000 :O

  • @killkenny5000

I don't know, the GBA's music sounds somewhat like the The Super NES's...

  • @BrainDeadTelevision no

the snes port is the only port that followed the PC version while the rest of the ports did the lazy jaguar port

+ snes has bad graphics but better music than the pc version with the famous 22 levels off the PC port

the GBA has 23 levels + good graphics but the music is crappy as shit worst than the OPL music from doom and theirs no bosses.

so how the hell the GBA MUSIC comes close to snes huh u need to look at the gameplays more

  • @BrainDeadTelevision i made a video of all the stats screen for doom 1 their is a hell of alot difference between the GBA port and the snes port

  • @BrainDeadTelevision

Whatever, we just have two differing opinions on the matter.

  • Three people stood in awe of the Spider Mastermind.

  • Im so Confused about the 2 consoles for DOOM. Nintendo has Better music like this. But a lack of Graphics. And the Sega 32X. Its graphics are Improved But the music is Horrible compared to The Nintendo. But the Worst is The Atari Jaguar. Theres no music in it!

  • @jeromegid the original pc version was the best.

  • is their like a music wad for SNES doom i like to know

imagine your playing the pc version of DOOM with SNES DOOM music

    might be kick ass

  • @killkenny5000 Get XWE, some MP3s or WAVs of the SNES soundtrack, And a DOOM WAD file and your wish is granted! If you want.....I can do it FOR you.

  • wow man great doom channel XD

doom gba songs are awesome, its a new remix for doom songs XD

and yes i dont know why doom games dont have enough songs for all the game :(

  • Comment removed

  • wow man GBA doom songs are real new remix of doom musics thanks for upload XD

and yes i dont know why doom games dont have enough songs for all the game :(

  • @nintendenOnline technically, he's correct. in the states it was released as final fantasy 3 because it was the third final fantasy to be ported here. in japan, they got 4 and 5, so it's actually 6, but calling it 3 in English is fine, since we got it as three.

    you're a dirty elitist weaboo.

  • @ajlmnop Dropping truth isn't being a weaboo.

  • @DjEzhel88 You mean FINAL FANTASY VI, I'm guessing. FINAL FANTASY III was for NES, FINAL FANTASY IV to VI were for SNES.

  • im surprised that listening to this again after so many years it still sounds good, forgot that the snes would make good music like Super Castlevania 4 and Final Fantasy 3

  • wow better than the Xbox and Sega o.o

  • @xXCriptlordwcXx

and PC version too. SNES Doom is a completely different take on the song.

  • Master of Puppets remix

  • its sounds almost like it would be in armored core (the earlier ones)

  • MASTER

    OF

    PUPPETSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

  • the doom cover kinda says "WHERES THE BFG WHEN YOU NEED IT?!?!?!"

  • @kerrigor778 who needs the BFG?

just use your fists to RIP AND TEAR the demons apart!

  • @Ledslinger7777 BFG=BIG BOOM

  • @kerrigor778 this is the game where you can MAKE PEOPLE EXPLODE BY PUNCHING THEM

and the BFG takes ammo, which might not be availible

  • @Ledslinger7777 enter the cheat again then

  • @kerrigor778 Anyone can just shoot a large super weapon at an ugly demon.

It takes a real MAN AND A HALF to kill them with your bare hands.

  • @kerrigor778 Don't you mean. " BIG FUCKING BOOM!!!!"?

  • @xXCriptlordwcXx the big boom goes without saying, lols if only they made a chuck norris cheat... nah that would make the game boring

  • How did u get the soundtrack bro? this rocks!!!!!! DOOM FOR LIFE!

  • Lol this version sucks balls. The only reason why it gets any love is because there's so many damn nintendo fanboys. I don't hate nintendo or anything but damn, so many goddamn nintendo fans that think everything nintendo is THE BEST

  • @moreoreos123 You are wrong. I like this tune because its a nice memory of my childhood. And for SNES-Standards its pretty good

  • @TheVideoGameCritics So you like it because of nostalgia....

I said this song sucks balls because i don't like it. My opinion cannot be wrong because it is opinion. Most would agree the PC and 3DO music is way better.

  • 3DO = Best. At. Doom's. Gate. Ever!

    Jaguar = Ducks Quacking....

    32X = Farts

    SNES = HELL YEAH!

  • @SSCode09 PC = GODLY

  • The thing about the ports is, the shitty ports have the best music

3DO= Awful framerate, missing enemies, weapons and levels

Jaguar= Good conversion, but some missing levels

32X= missing lots of levels, but a very good version

SNES= All levels, all weapons and enemies intact, horrible framerate.

  • @sub2me4areview Actually the SNES version lacks five levels from the original. Also enemies are only animated from the front.

  • @SSCode09 whats wrong with pc version that kicke dthe most ass

  • @SSCode09 Wait, according to the Angry Video Game Nerd, he said the Atari Jaguar version didn't have music. Was he wrong?

  • great music! now if only this port was playable...

  • I love this!

  • i just noticed the guy in the back of the picture.

  • @MyCaseisClosed lol

    me too

  • This sounds like fucking crap, stop nostalgian

  • @Parkerkun Sounds nice to me.

  • master of puppets

  • This song reeks of Master of the Puppetts by Metallica.

  • i would have to say the 3DO version has best doom music 2nd is snes

and the worst doom music ever is 1st the 32x version 2nd is the PC version

if u want graphics go with the xbox 360 version or PC version

if u want music then get 3DO version or SNES version

  • it sounds WORSE THAN 32X. 32X had scarier music to me now this shouldve been in a morta combat game LMAO XD ;P

  • Doom > Halo

  • @SethTheArcticFox92 Maybe somebody should make a Doom monster/character mod along with reproductions of Doom levels for Halo.

  • @SethTheArcticFox92 no way, sucker. Go have fun on other top rated lists.

  • @evilchao25

Excuse me? I had no intention of getting thumbs up in the first place. :P

  • @SethTheArcticFox92 Doom > Every other video game ever made.

  • @MrMagichobo21 BS DEMONS SOULS IS THE BEST GAME EVER MADE

  • @SethTheArcticFox92 I'm 14, and I have to agree with you!

  • @SethTheArcticFox92 Doom>everything

  • @SethTheArcticFox92

Difficult. Halo 2 was a great game. CE and 3 and the others since have sucked ass. I'd put them about level for having amazing graphics, story, music etc

  • I remember just staring at this cover forever, such art detail-tells a story

  • They should've remade doom with the snes music and the 32x graphics

  • Was the SNES cartridge of Doom red? It's been forever since i own the game that i forgot what it looks like. ;)

  • @shadowdarkness366 Yup. It's a red cartridge and I still own mine.

  • @shadowdarkness366 The US version was, all the others were standard grey.

  • when does the guitar beat was mest up

  • i like the 32X music version

  • reminds me of the intro from metallicas master of puppets

  • even though the movie sucked, they should have played this song for the 1st person portion of the movie for lolz, & to make a look...a bit cool? O_o

  • I don't know why but I keep pessing the replay button :D

  • Best song from the DOOM series =P

  • man have to admit the game may have not been that good on the snes but at least it beats the genesis (mega drive) version i mean the graphics were crap it got to pixelized at some points you couldn't even shoot your enemies and plus the music was just fucking awful i mean man sega what the hell were you thinking nintendo did a way better job than you did sega

  • Although the SNES soundchip was much superior to the Genesis/Mega Drive's in terms of techology, this is where the former failed; ROCK SOUNDTRACKS! That's not a guitar, its a sodding violin!!!

Still, MUCH better than the 32x version's music. However, that was a cause of developer laziness and the complicity of its sound chip. Why they didn't use the Gen/MD's Z80 is beyond me.

  • If you look at the picture and listen to the music, it's sort of scairy o.o

  • i have this as my ringtone

  • The music on the SNES version of Doom was probably the best music.

  • Ah Doom. I still remember the password for God mode on the PC. (i was around 7 when i played it ok?)

    IDDQD

  • OH HELL YEAH! This is the best beat in Doom History. Who would have thought it was on the SNES version?

  • go watch somthing else, you pusy.

  • @FANTASHOW100 i have been watching other shit dumbfuck. but thanks for replying and bringing me back. stupid.

  • i love this there is so much bass it shakes my house

  • @CAallday209

    no, Slayer sounds like this

  • i loved this freakin game im prolley when i get a chance im gonna get it off ebay for super nintendo

  • personally the best version af all the doom soundtracks

  • @blackysboy

the 3do is better for its music

  • @blackysboy 3DO 2nd best!

  • @blackysboy Gonna have to disagree with you there, I'd say the 3do version of it was better. (well, that and the original midis on a classic Soundblaster)

  • Comment removed

  • Sounds like the 'synthesizer' on an old version of Finale... a little too much delay on it to make it appealing to the ear. x.x

but I suppose it gets points for still being better than the 32X version

  • kick - ass music

  • Same cant be said for crap controls.... this port is a abomination on the doom series.... the only reason i still own it now i that the box art is nice and the radical red cartridge looks nice next to all those bland gray ones.

  • yeah!

  • DOS, I only have that. The soundtrack probably is better too though.

  • you mean the DOS version, or the soundtrack version?

  • i remember playing this game it whas awsome:D

  • Thanks for uploading this! That's great!

  • its amsing how this sound so cool
