@ozatogirl I didn't, but i grew up around sled dogs. i bought a sledding harness and a bungee lead from canadog online. started out slow and the first thing we learned was "on by" (whatever is distracting). in stanley park there are many distractions, so staying really alert is important. i think you can find out what you need to know online.
@chipman5 this one is an xl, but he grew out of it.. I should have taken canadog's advice and ordered a xl-long, but i thought the xl would do. he's big for a husky.
How does it not toss you over or make you wreck when they're out in front pulling like that? I'm trying to find a better alternative to do daily with my three Huskies instead of our 5 mile walks in the morning, I want them to be able to run the 5 miles. I looked at the springer which keeps them from pulling too much.....but the thing is the only place I can ride around here without a lot of traffic is our subdivisions, they rarely have any traffic......but they have some steep hills..
@kimhunter2 Adding to my last comment, they have steep hills that I know I won't be able to make it up lol. Any advice on that? I train dogs for people, but with my own I'd like to be able to let them run for miles every day.
@sheeeve08 you might consider a scooter for 3 dogs. they make them for 'sledding' and have a much more reliable braking system. with 1 dog, I am constantly riding my bakes, i can't imaging 3! here's one of those scooters: watch?v=6pMnWUbVQMw
Perfect! Thank you!! I ordered a harness and lead!

I'm interested in getting my husky into scootering! Did you take a clinic on bikejoring in the lower mainland?

Looks like fun, where can you get a proper harness like that?

@tbsla13 this one is called the "x-back" but they also have "shorties" for the bike.
I got this one online from Canadog ... canadog (dot) ca
I also bought a proper lead with a bungee built in. Great company.
