In my corner of Shithole, America I lost my job as a security guard to Wackenhut contractors, a subsidiary of ALEC Corp. Now prisoners are forced to guard the mine I used to work at, for four dollars a day. Ironic? Even more ironic is the fact that jobs throughout my area are getting outsourced to private prisons, and lots of men like me are turning to criminal enterprises to feed their families. More crime = more prisoners = cheaper labor = fewer jobs for law abiding citizens = more crime.

That's what happens when you privatize corrections, justice, health, etc. Here in Norway we still got a lot of government owned stuff, including our biggest oil company, which is being very clever with their money to ensure our prosperity will continue long after the oil runs dry, but we've had some privatization. Our electricity and phone grids for example. It used to be a low price with a kilowatt cap. Once past the cap, prices go up. Now its cheaper for the rich and bloody expensive for us.
