  • im attempting to save a pigeon myself, i found him in a car park freezing unable to fly, due to the large amount of stray cats in the area(ive seen plenty of ravaged pigeons there)i decided to take him home.... looking at pics he seems to be around 20 days old and cant eat off of a plate, i have been feeding him a scrambled egg this same method and he has perked up, but should he be eating scrambled eggs? it was cook with no fats, just on a non stick pan. some advice wouldn't go stray. thanks

  • Thank You for the vid on how to do this, I have a very sick pigeon who is dying and has P.M.V., and you just might have saved her :)

  • I love your pidgeon, looks quite and helpful!!

  • its a pigeon

  • she's so cute!

  • wow hes still young, do u know how old he was in this vid?

  • A good way ... I also feed the chickens so small

  • hi, please help me. i have pairs of ringneck dove, spotted dove, dwarf turtle dove, cuckoo dove, white eared brown dove and emerald dove. each pair has their own cage but is to small. i plan of buying a huge cage for all of them. is it a good idea that different dove species share a single huge cage? thanx. just like an aviary?

  • I am sorry if I delayed in replying, I must have an old e-mail registered with youtube so I was never alerted to your comment

I have collared doves, pigeons and wood pigeons in the same aviary. I can't have disabled doves in with pigeons, but other than that they all get along well. The larger birds have learnt to ignore the collared doves because they are so agile.

You will have to keep an eye on them for the first few days.

  • i often have to do this during the breeding season with my pigeons.

  • She is feeding one pea at a time which is small enough :o)

  • that is good but you should maybe consider feeding it smaller chunks!

  • What kind hands you have. Keep up the great work, my friend!

  • What Dr, Schweitzer said is very true. It is easy to hurt or frighten an animal, much more patience is required to gain their trust and love, as you have done. And it is also so much more rewarding. I feed pigeons and swans by hand locally and it is wonderful when they trust you enough to land on your arm (the pigeons,I mean!) and eat from your hand, 4 or 5 at a time!

  • Aww, cute, my doves won't let me even TOUCH their beaks xD
