I don't care is this story doesn't fit in the real timeline, it's a really neat story and I really enjoyed it. Obi-Wan is my favorite character in all of Star Wars and I think his time as a hermit on Tatooine could make some great adventures. I'd like to see a how book about it.

I'm a huge Darth Maul fan. I would have wanted him to die in the first movie than die like this. The concept of the legs is weird (who found Maul after he fell down the shaft? The shear drop alone would have killed him anyway) I know he's a Zabrak but why did his horns grow out even more? It looks really bad. There's a Zabrak Jedi and he was a lot older than Maul, his horns were quite small. I don't like this comic's story. I am trying to get the comics about Darth Maul before episode 1 however.

also episode 1 takes place 32 years before episode 4. this non canon story takes place when luke is about 4. so it would be 36 years after the phantom menace.

and there are 20 years between episode 1 and 2. anikin is sopposed to be 12 in the phantom menace. he is 22 in attack of the clones, and he is 25 in revenge of the sith. darth vader is 44 during a new hope.

So I guess Luke forgot this traumatizing event in his life. In the movie he never mentions remembering Ben save him and his uncle from Darth Maul. The problem with prequels is someone's bound to screw up the story continuity. Cool comic book though.
