Yes there is a 2.5 years between jones and calzaghe but that's a huge gap in boxing years. Also taking into consideration jones was amazing from the olympics and peaked a long time ago mid 90's to the point he went up in weight class. You could pretty much say after that he was 'over the hill'. So a two year age difference is a totally different thing. Some boxers peak differently and sustain it longer than others. Joe's peak wasn't too long ago IMO.

Yes there is a 2.5 years between jones and calzaghe but that's a huge gap in boxing years. Also taking into consideration jones was amazing from the olympics and peaked a long time ago mid 90's to the point he went up in weight class. You could pretty much say after that he was 'over the hill'. So a two year age difference is a totally different thing. Some boxers peak differently and sustain it longer than others. Joe's peak wasn't too long ago IMO.

Mayweather is way overrated. Except for Hatton and corrales he never fought a big star in his prime. He fought de la hoya during his decline and got a split decision. Hes too weak to beat either margarito or cotto which is way hes ducked them for the past two years. I'm so tired of ppl saying theres no way Floyd compares to Ray Robinson. Yes, Ray was a great fighter, BUT he fought 121 fights against fighters who had 10 or more losses. He fought guys w/30-40 losses. He fought tons of guys who had 9 losses. Maybe Floyd is better than ppl give him credit for, and maybe Ray fought a lot of fuckin bums that he gets way to much credit for beating. Take away those 121 BUMS and Ray is 52-19. That doesn't sound like a greatest p4p of all time fighter to me.
