Umm... guys? You can't be your own horcrux. A horcrux is an object that you store a part of your soul in to keep you from dying. If your body is destroyed the horcrux keeps you from departing this world. If your body is destroyed and you have no external object holding a piece of your soul, then you're just dead. It's not possible to store separate pieces of your soul inside your own body for safekeeping in case your physical form gets destroyed. That defeats the purpose.

Yea it is. Voldemort can't really be counted as 'living' with his soul split into multiple pieces and Harry is irrevocably tied to Voldemort since his body hosts a piece of Voldemort's soul. For Harry to live as a normal human being he has to destroy the piece of Voldemort's soul that's in him.

Plus you can add their determination to off one another. I think them not being able to go about their business without constantly looking over their shoulder for the other counts, lol.

The Chamber of Secrets was opened 50 years before Harry's second year. Snape wrote in the book when he was in school. The comment you're thinking of is unrelated.

Well, if they are going to make the movie, at least follow the book whenever possible. No one expects the full book in a movie, but they distroyed this movie in my opinion. Nothing looked the same (ya ya it's gotten all 'dark' and 'spooky') but come on! The burning of the Burrow - I didn't even recognize what was suppose to be the 'Burrow' - plopped down in a corn field...huh! I could go on and on....BUT - DRACO was spot on - wow - what a great job Tom Felton did in this movie...

Well, the 6th book is much about romance ... that's why it isn't my favourite book. So it isn't my favourite film.
