DL8Esman for the courteous response. I didn't mean to take it so seriously but I had been watching lots PJ and 'Given to fly' has such a deep meaning to me. Now that I look back on my comment I feel pretty stupid. Again I apologize. Glad you had fun at the beach and the nice vid that came from it.

Actually, the images you portrayed reminded my friend of me. I have always been moved by the lyrics of this song as has he, it absolutely floored me when I discovered that he thought this way about me. Trust me, it was your beautiful work. Pearl Jam gave you great material, but you brought it to a new level. Thank you again.

This video is awesome. Its a fan video and it isn't meant to insult anyone. I love it and I have it on my favorites. ok i don't know what you guys have been smoking... but this video insults the song. it's one of PJ's most powerful songs and this video is nothing in comparison. It's freakin one deminsional and would've gone better with a pop rock... maybe Britney Spears or Hannah Montana song. Wake - up and give Pearl Jam their dignity back.

I agree 100%, I was in no way trying to reach Pearl Jam's artistic level, nor could I ever even if I tried, specially on a simple home video without a budget. I was simply at the beach one day playing around with my camcorder and the song popped into my head. In no way did I think: "I'm gonna put visuals to Eddie's words." That my friend is simply an impossibility. As for Britney and Hannah: I'm not too familiar with their work, but I'm open to suggestions...which song is your favorite?

Actually that's Bolsa Chica, a tiny little beach in Orange County between Sunset Beach and Huntington Beach. Santa Monica is waaaaaaaay too dirty now-a-days. Thanks for the comment!
