  • Now they should rise a bar a bit higher: the guy who shoots the sig must be hit in the head with the fn baesball bet and then try to shoot the fn target

    Dumb asses...

  • this will void your warranty? well no shit dumb ass

  • I thought they was going to shoot the bat

  • doesnt count. a puerto rican has to hit it

  • Fuck I hate that host. He is one of the most annoying douche bags I've ever seen. He's got Adult ADHD and can't keep from having to constantly touch things that the guests are holding.

  • i thought they were gonna shoot the bat /:

  • get some fat roid head like barry bonds to hit it. then i give you props. that guy hit like he got kicked out of t-ball

  • we are going to have to call in the microwave team!

in going for my p226 next month.

  • Guys at sig are obvious jack asses. This is a good thing. I am now considering a sig.

  • I like it at the 29 second mark where he points the firearm at the host.

    ;)

  • the p226 has to shoot the baseball bat after the beating it took, come on!

  • Can you show us the other way around?

  • Best gun ever.

  • ahhhhhhhhhhhh the gun??? what u doing??? ahhhhhhh

  • GUY IN BLUE SHIRT, WHY ARE YOU HITTING THE GUN WITH YOU BASEBALL BAT? YOU DONT EVEN PLAY BASEBALL, GET DOWN FROM THERE

  • Maybe the best handgun in the world

  • unbelievable, that is great engineering . to put up with that kind of abuse...

    im sure glad i own the 226 in .40 s&w . i paid $945 including fees

  • unbelievable, that is great engineering . to put up with that kind of abuse...

    im sure glad i own the 226 in .40 s&w .

  • don't you think you should have put on the ear protection before loading the firearm? just a thought.

  • @cirrustc good call

  • OMG IT SHOT

  • It's not really a thousand dollar gun if you shop around and find a good price. I have the Elite Dark version and although Sig lists it at $1200, I paid less than 800. If you're paying MSRP for pretty much any gun, you're doing it wrong.

  • WHY THE FUCK DO PEOPLE KEEP TALKING, I WANT TO SEE GUN ACTION NOT LIP ACTION. FUCK I HATE YOUTUBE.

  • @ilovetohavelonglogin why the fuck did you make an account dumbass?!

  • @ilovetohavelonglogin Then dont look at it. Duhhhhhhh

  • That actually made me cry a little. Hitting a gun like that with a baseball bat is sacrilege, yeah it can withstand the damage and still shoot just fine but was it really necessary. No gun should have to go through that.

  • "Magazine, ear protection?"

    ......No....

  • try a sledge

  • thats a $1000 gun? holy shit!

  • @xthewallhitmex talked mine down to $850 with military discount.

  • it will void your warranty.... XD

  • Sig Sauer WINS!!!... Perfect

  • glocks turn ... lol

  • @2SIGSAUER40 fuck glock

  • @Vinagain94

    Why do you hate glock?

  • This is an alright test but honestly most of the pistols I've owned would do just as well so this test doesn't really prove anything.

  • Comment removed

  • I love my effin P6.

  • Aww man I wanted to see him shoot the bat :(

  • @bob8065 same here. I was waiting for it....

  • Now shoot the baseball bat with the p226 and show me if it still works

  • What the fuck was this use of all this?

  • Is it me or did the decocker lever also break??? Look at the end of video

  • whats that one golden rule that everyone drills into everyone else all the time? the one about not pointing the gun at what you're not prepared to destroy? at 0:45 he apparently is prepared to destroy his partner...and yes, I know, it was "not loaded", but still...looks like he did a visual check right as he pointed it right at the other dude...that would piss me off....

  • @buttlescutt Relax.

  • @buttlescutt forget the other guy look at 35sec. he put the mag in then his ear protection he doesn't even care if he shoots himself in the head.

  • @MrDrFrankeinstein would have needed a round in the chamber before that could of happened. can see him rack a round in after he puts his ear protection on ;)

  • WATCH AS HE LOADED THE GUN THEN PLACE IT NEAR HIS HEAD AS HE PUT ON HIS EAR PROTECTION. DONT TRY THAT AT HOME...YOU MAY VOID YOUR LIFE

  • inserting the magazine and then putting on your earprotection is the stupidest amateur sh*t i have seen in a long time.

    nice going

  • @S050NL Jesus Christ, you know complaining about lax gun safety (and believe me, I've seen much worse than this, stuff that's actually worth griping about) isn't necessary. Fine, you know gun safety. I'm sure the guy in the video does, too. Pretty sure putting on ear protection before loading a mag isn't life threatening, and not to insult, but I fail to see how that's "amateur shit." Whenever I'm at the range, I see Cops and Veterans doing the same shit. Its preference, not skill or experience.

  • SOFA KING LAME not showing it in full speed. Should do both, DUH!

  • Do not try this at home?

Who would even think of trying it.

  • I feel so sorry for that wall....

  • It's super EXTREME!

  • What is the point of this? This is not real world testing. Sand, dirt and heat will test a pistol. Whacking it with a bat is just retarded.

  • THE REAR SIGHT IS FUCKED @1:12

  • I shot my p226 with an AK, ran it over with my car, and left it in salt water over night. And it still shot like a dream! Sigs are invincible.

  • @MikeyMinimo you didnt try soaking it in lava? not much of a test without lava...

  • Holy muzzle sweepage Batman! WOW, dude in the blue shirt needs to learn how to keep the gun pointed down range. Michael Bane would have been dying from a gut shot right now had that gun been loaded.

  • P226 1 and Wall 0

  • Metal dents, polymer keeps shape

  • no fukin way a glock wuld crack!!that is a stupid statment.look at the toture tests on you tube.they dnt even discharge when thrown out of a plane!!so hkneo-whateva get ur facts stright!!

  • I know a guy who decided to try a simple test up here with his Glock 17. He set it down on the pavement and drove over it with his truck.

The slide catch was bent and the frame cracked right at the barrel locking block. The slide catch has since been replaced and now the gun still operates fine.

Plastic can crack when struck, just as those Aluminum frames can crack with enough force.

I highly doubt a 1911 with it's steel frame and steel slide though would crack from being driven over

  • If that chamber got a little bent it can blow up in your face

  • Thought he hit it with the bat when the gun was loaded I was gonna say thats a very dumb idea but no they thought it over lol

  • i almost cried when i saw him hit it. but cool test

  • be carefull thats not a Glock we are talking about.

  • if it were a Glock the polymer frame would have cracked in numerous places. The Sig P226 is entirely metal. There's no way to confuse the two.

  • eh i dont know about that, but i bet regardles it would still shoot.

  • noooooooooo

  • But...will it blend?

  • YES, it will!

  • @noromaru if its hard enough, it wouldnt need to bend...

i take it you like glocks? polymer frame guns are nice...but address the issue of strength with a softer material, that is mildly flexible...able to take some abuse before it cracks. a metal frame is harder than the polymer, and less susceptible to bending and warping under the same pressures, but when you finally apply enough force...it will bend/fracture...just like the polymer would.

  • @annihilationnegitive

I think he said "blend" not "bend." Search for "Will it blend" videos here, it's good times.

  • @MisterSithy VERY good point...im so used to people misspelling words...

  • @noromaru lol

  • theres one of these at my local academy for like 680 bucks

  • You can put your sig into a washing machine filled with rocks. In 30 mins you'll break your washer but the sig will work just fine. Its an end of the world gun...up there with the reliability of the ak. It will work. when u need it too. The magazines can fail as one of mine got stepped on. yeah its fubar.

  • it hurt to see this. but then again its a sig, awesome gun

  • go ahead and try that with your firearms then and see how well they work mythbusters said hitting metal with an aluminim bat is a close equivelant to the force of geting shot

  • Mythbusters said it? HOT DAMN! Must be true then!

  • Lol yea cuz they tested it and compared the force applied

    and it wasent far off.

And mythbusters is a show to test myths with science to.see if the myth is even possable

Who says hot damb any way hick.

  • I was being sarcastic you fucking idiot.

Please get raped with a coathanger. A rusty coathanger.

  • I'm sure you where lol Do use all a favor and get a life

  • LOLOL. Wow.

Telling another person on the comment section of a video about guns to get a life.....

Pot calling kettle black much? Faggot.

  • weak ass hit, with an aluminum bat? wack..not a torture test, real test... you shoot them 1,000 to 2,000 non stop and test it. Slamming it, pouring BBQ sauce on it, and microwaving it is NOT a torture test, just a cheap gun maker scheme to get you hard earned money, i want data.

  • well 60+ percent of cops use this gun in united states that should be good enough for ya

  • That's funny because that's the same thing that guy said in that 1911 video with Todd Jarret.

  • you broke the wall dumbass

  • Damn right. Fucking idiot broke the fucking wall! LOL.

  • so? hes showing that hes using full force no bullshitting.. you like to be lied to?

  • i would respond, but i'd rather not entertain your feutile attempt at an irrelivent point...

  • AHAHAHA whoa there buddy put that dictionary away you dont need those big words.. what did you copy paste that from someone else? ive seen that sentence like 142032 times on here.. but annyyyways feutile attempt? im stating the truth... irrelivent? you were talking about how he broke the wall and i told you why? you dont even know what those words mean go clean your room little boy and stop fantasizing about shooting your perents

  • why am i not surprised that you "dont even know what those words mean"... honestly, this is the downfall of modern society, that we allow you to procreate with others, and not just put you in a cage for all to marvel at... you could probably pass as the missing link if our insignificance wasn't so blatantly obvious..

  • goddamn your comments are unbearable did you sit up all night writing that.. its not even a clean shot its like your sitting there with a dictionary typing words my first comment already finished this now your just dragging it on with a worthless reason

  • ill put this in simple terms, the saddest part about this, is that i didn't use a dictionary and 99% of america can understand what i said. i would become upset by your lack of intelligence, but hey, someone has to flip my burgers and mow my lawn.. and my ass isn't gona wipe its self. go to school jackass and learn some english. u give this country a bad name.

  • can a p226 be chambered for .40?

if it can what's the capacity?

  • I am fairly sure it can, although I am not sure of the capacity. It would probably say what it is on SIGs website.

  • Yes.. In fact mine is.

up to 15+1 dependent on mag

  • Yes.

  • Yes...12

  • SIG is awesome. Kimbers nice, Glocks reliable as well but ehh. Springfield XDM I love. Para, Taurus ( well the PT 24/7 Pro DS) I love all guns! ok there is some pc of craps out there lol

  • I shoot a P226 in 9mm. After over 5000 rounds and zero fail to feed stoppages can you guess what is my home protection piece? The pistol is completely stock and well maintained. I've owned almost all brands by now (25 years of pistol fun and counting) and out of the box Sig has been the best.

  • Where did you get that video?? I like to see the whole program!

  • its from the shooting gallery, a show that comes on every wednesday on the outdoor channel.....great gun shows on wednesdays

  • seems like it recoils a lot for a 9mm

  • no it shoots so smooth and it depends on the grain hes using

  • actullly.... i have shot alot of guns and the p226 is one of the smoothest..... its low recoil and smooth firing make it the perfect millitary sidearm

  • Maybe its not a 9mm. There are several calibers available for that weapon.

  • I love my P226.

  • That thing took a chunk out of the wall! hahaha!

  • HOLY SHIT.

  • Sig rules!

  • Isn't that the guy from mythbusers? the ex fbi agent or something

  • no.... lol

  • I dunno man, I think Pujols or Adrian Gonzalez could have obliterated it, but I'm a Padres fan.

  • i blacked out when he hit it

  • lol

  • Nice, except for the benefit of the viewers I would have done, "Ear protection......Magazine....." as opposed to the reverse :^ P

  • "It will void your warranty" ...if the individual is dumb enough to tell Sig that they need repairs because they clocked their gun with an aluminum bat.

  • Wow, that guy has a nice swing.

  • You can get a sig for $800+

  • $1000!

I know it's wonderful quality and performance but I bet the SEALS are glad the Navy picks up the bill.

I just think $1000 is too much for a back up weapon considering the M9 is only $250. Actually, isn't the M11 only about $700?

  • true that M9 is much cheaper and the army picked it up a its standered but the

M9 has so many problems and jams way to much to be a good gun for the range

  • May have been true, but I understand the M9 now has an expectable level of reliability and durability.

Just consider the DoD has to balance value for money as well as performance for each piece of the soldiers kit since there is not an infinite amount of funding.

To justify spending an extra $750 on their side arm (+ more expensive replacement parts) that is going to cut into their other equipment budget like for red dot sights, new armour plates and even their salary and pension pay out.

  • true it expensive, but in a combat situation i want a sidearm i know is going to work, plus on a sig the only thing you replace is the recoil spring at 5000 rounds which a singel solider will never do, where as the M9 needs replacement parts everytime it has a operation failuer, but it is true that its hard on epuipment budget, budget in mind the army in my opinion should swich to glock because its cheap and very reliable

  • (I feel weird replying to old comments...)

Yes, budget wise a Glock would be a good choice, not only is it reliable, but I found that a Glock in .45 is easier to handle than your normal 9mm M9. Not to mention the comfortable grip and point-and-shoot quality Glock pistols have~

  • I didn't know sigs were $1000!

  • sigs are the best!

  • Of course an aluminum bat and a brick wall and a cement floor isn't gonna break something made of treated stamped steel with steel springs, you'd have to shoot a sig with a 50 cal to bust it.

  • YAYA!

  • Sig is Hardcore

  • GOD i love sigs..

    best handguns ive ever bought

  • huh, what's more reliable then, a sig p 226 or a usp for 9mm?

  • Sig p229

  • Only a sig. Takes that damage.

  • I want one ^^

  • Sexy gun!

  • I'd like to see this demo with a Glock

  • When I took my ccw clas, my instructor had a friend that threw his glock down range and abused it a little and shot it and it worked fine. thats what the instructor told the class. wish i could have seen it in person.

  • Ouch! That hurt my soul a little bit seeing what they did to that beautiful handgun. Its also nice to know that the people who build them are ladies in floral print shirts lol.

  • Why does he remind me of Vince?

  • sexy gun

  • damn

  • Немного туповато бросать оружие а потом из него стрелять вот если бы в ствол замыпали кремневой пыли и выстрелели!!! Самый лучший пистолет это ГШ-18

  • I found bin laden.....he's gosha71........ I'm sorry that was racist but funny, who in here do you think understands you?

  • Мне как то по барабану что вы не понимаете меня!!! учите Русский язык.

  • hey gosha ti moodila bezmozglaya, ni kto teba ne doljen ponimat. oochi angliyski yazik.

  • heh, and here I thought they were gonna shoot a baseball bat...

  • Owner of sig 228 for years and it's been perfect :) nice vid :)

  • I was sad to see them discontinue those for civilians =(

  • Proof of the "to hell and back reliability" sig claims of their pistols.

  • id laugh so hard if there was a round in it and fired when he wacked it

  • Hands down the best, anything by SIG SAUER

  • who makes those? walther?

  • sig sauer

  • must be a bloody good hand gun if its standard issue for the SEALS 22nd SAS, NZSAS and NZ army regular infantry =p

  • p226 or S&w m&P 9mm

  • p226!

  • 226 hands down

  • that was a single at best...he needs to extend those arms for better results

  • Yeah, a bat's hollow and the gun is almost solid. If anything, the small protruding parts like the sights get bent, and the bat gets a dent in it. Besides, I was hoping to see some dumbasses shooting holes in an aluminum bat. That would have been more interesting and worth my time.

  • Wow, a big chunk of metal survived getting hit by a baseball bat.

My mind is blown. Seriously you guys. Seriously.

  • haha...yea no shit!!!

  • thats gay

  • It would have been so funny if he "struck out" trying to hit the stationary gun.

  • Uh ... how about not pointing the SIG at your buddy around 0:44? ROFL

  • how about noticing that there were no magazine, nor a bullet in the chamber at that time, it's still against weapon safety rules, but technicly no danger.

  • Yeah, that would why I said it was still rules, I never said that they should not follow them...

  • LOL!

  • What's with the gay PSA rock music?

  • for some reason people think rock music goes good with shooting

  • Would this be ok to shoot after being submerged in salt water?

  • I love sig, so much better than glock

  • yeah but thats your opinion about it, some people may prefer the glock

  • it's fact, talk to any pro gunsmith. they will go with sig. why do you think the military doesn't use glocks? what do they use? sigs. sig is better, hands down

  • For sure, Sig all the way. They look good too... you ever seen a glock? looks like a lego thing doesn't it, ha ha.

  • haha, of course i've seen a glock, i have multiple and i hate them. and LOL they do look like legos

  • lol yeah I always thought they looked like toys.

  • well you got a point

  • I just got one and I agree VERY nice weapon!

  • should i get the 9 or the 40
