Fuck I hate that host. He is one of the most annoying douche bags I've ever seen. He's got Adult ADHD and can't keep from having to constantly touch things that the guests are holding.
It's not really a thousand dollar gun if you shop around and find a good price. I have the Elite Dark version and although Sig lists it at $1200, I paid less than 800. If you're paying MSRP for pretty much any gun, you're doing it wrong.
That actually made me cry a little. Hitting a gun like that with a baseball bat is sacrilege, yeah it can withstand the damage and still shoot just fine but was it really necessary. No gun should have to go through that.
whats that one golden rule that everyone drills into everyone else all the time? the one about not pointing the gun at what you're not prepared to destroy? at 0:45 he apparently is prepared to destroy his partner...and yes, I know, it was "not loaded", but still...looks like he did a visual check right as he pointed it right at the other dude...that would piss me off....
@MrDrFrankeinstein would have needed a round in the chamber before that could of happened. can see him rack a round in after he puts his ear protection on ;)
@S050NL Jesus Christ, you know complaining about lax gun safety (and believe me, I've seen much worse than this, stuff that's actually worth griping about) isn't necessary. Fine, you know gun safety. I'm sure the guy in the video does, too. Pretty sure putting on ear protection before loading a mag isn't life threatening, and not to insult, but I fail to see how that's "amateur shit." Whenever I'm at the range, I see Cops and Veterans doing the same shit. Its preference, not skill or experience.
Holy muzzle sweepage Batman! WOW, dude in the blue shirt needs to learn how to keep the gun pointed down range. Michael Bane would have been dying from a gut shot right now had that gun been loaded.
no fukin way a glock wuld crack!!that is a stupid statment.look at the toture tests on you tube.they dnt even discharge when thrown out of a plane!!so hkneo-whateva get ur facts stright!!
I know a guy who decided to try a simple test up here with his Glock 17. He set it down on the pavement and drove over it with his truck.
The slide catch was bent and the frame cracked right at the barrel locking block. The slide catch has since been replaced and now the gun still operates fine.
Plastic can crack when struck, just as those Aluminum frames can crack with enough force.
I highly doubt a 1911 with it's steel frame and steel slide though would crack from being driven over
@noromaru if its hard enough, it wouldnt need to bend...
i take it you like glocks? polymer frame guns are nice...but address the issue of strength with a softer material, that is mildly flexible...able to take some abuse before it cracks. a metal frame is harder than the polymer, and less susceptible to bending and warping under the same pressures, but when you finally apply enough force...it will bend/fracture...just like the polymer would.
You can put your sig into a washing machine filled with rocks. In 30 mins you'll break your washer but the sig will work just fine. Its an end of the world gun...up there with the reliability of the ak. It will work. when u need it too. The magazines can fail as one of mine got stepped on. yeah its fubar.
go ahead and try that with your firearms then and see how well they work mythbusters said hitting metal with an aluminim bat is a close equivelant to the force of geting shot
weak ass hit, with an aluminum bat? wack..not a torture test, real test... you shoot them 1,000 to 2,000 non stop and test it. Slamming it, pouring BBQ sauce on it, and microwaving it is NOT a torture test, just a cheap gun maker scheme to get you hard earned money, i want data.
AHAHAHA whoa there buddy put that dictionary away you dont need those big words.. what did you copy paste that from someone else? ive seen that sentence like 142032 times on here.. but annyyyways feutile attempt? im stating the truth... irrelivent? you were talking about how he broke the wall and i told you why? you dont even know what those words mean go clean your room little boy and stop fantasizing about shooting your perents
why am i not surprised that you "dont even know what those words mean"... honestly, this is the downfall of modern society, that we allow you to procreate with others, and not just put you in a cage for all to marvel at... you could probably pass as the missing link if our insignificance wasn't so blatantly obvious..
goddamn your comments are unbearable did you sit up all night writing that.. its not even a clean shot its like your sitting there with a dictionary typing words my first comment already finished this now your just dragging it on with a worthless reason
ill put this in simple terms, the saddest part about this, is that i didn't use a dictionary and 99% of america can understand what i said. i would become upset by your lack of intelligence, but hey, someone has to flip my burgers and mow my lawn.. and my ass isn't gona wipe its self. go to school jackass and learn some english. u give this country a bad name.
SIG is awesome. Kimbers nice, Glocks reliable as well but ehh. Springfield XDM I love. Para, Taurus ( well the PT 24/7 Pro DS) I love all guns! ok there is some pc of craps out there lol
I shoot a P226 in 9mm. After over 5000 rounds and zero fail to feed stoppages can you guess what is my home protection piece? The pistol is completely stock and well maintained. I've owned almost all brands by now (25 years of pistol fun and counting) and out of the box Sig has been the best.
actullly.... i have shot alot of guns and the p226 is one of the smoothest..... its low recoil and smooth firing make it the perfect millitary sidearm
"It will void your warranty" ...if the individual is dumb enough to tell Sig that they need repairs because they clocked their gun with an aluminum bat.
May have been true, but I understand the M9 now has an expectable level of reliability and durability.
Just consider the DoD has to balance value for money as well as performance for each piece of the soldiers kit since there is not an infinite amount of funding.
To justify spending an extra $750 on their side arm (+ more expensive replacement parts) that is going to cut into their other equipment budget like for red dot sights, new armour plates and even their salary and pension pay out.
true it expensive, but in a combat situation i want a sidearm i know is going to work, plus on a sig the only thing you replace is the recoil spring at 5000 rounds which a singel solider will never do, where as the M9 needs replacement parts everytime it has a operation failuer, but it is true that its hard on epuipment budget, budget in mind the army in my opinion should swich to glock because its cheap and very reliable
Yes, budget wise a Glock would be a good choice, not only is it reliable, but I found that a Glock in .45 is easier to handle than your normal 9mm M9. Not to mention the comfortable grip and point-and-shoot quality Glock pistols have~
Of course an aluminum bat and a brick wall and a cement floor isn't gonna break something made of treated stamped steel with steel springs, you'd have to shoot a sig with a 50 cal to bust it.
When I took my ccw clas, my instructor had a friend that threw his glock down range and abused it a little and shot it and it worked fine. thats what the instructor told the class. wish i could have seen it in person.
Ouch! That hurt my soul a little bit seeing what they did to that beautiful handgun. Its also nice to know that the people who build them are ladies in floral print shirts lol.

how about noticing that there were no magazine, nor a bullet in the chamber at that time, it's still against weapon safety rules, but technicly no danger.
it's fact, talk to any pro gunsmith. they will go with sig. why do you think the military doesn't use glocks? what do they use? sigs. sig is better, hands down

Wow, a big chunk of metal survived getting hit by a baseball bat.
My mind is blown. Seriously you guys. Seriously.
