By all means, if you can make a better fan based Crow appreciation film with NO BUDGET, I'd like to see it. As far as the bad acting and bad angles,... I was just happy that people answered my ad from Craigslist. This little movie opened several doors for me to work with people in the business which led me to better projects. SO if you have the GULL to Shoot down this movie, THEN I CHALLENGE YOU TO DO A BETTER FILM WITH CRAIGSLIST ACTORS WITHIN TWO WEEKS AND ZERO BUDGET.
Once again, YouTubers, This is a NO budget fan film done in appreciation of the James O'Barr novel and movies. It is NOT intended to try to dictate what his universe is about, it's merely an alternative view which was created for FUN and out of Love and Respect during the live club event I promoted for The Crow's 10 year film release.
This was a fan film that was made for a club event themed after THE CROW which happened during Wondercon in San Francisco in 2004 - the ten year anniversary of the 1994 movie. An ad was put out for aspiring filmmakers to make short films either crow like or based on the Crow. James O'Barr attended the event and was pleased that they were all original shorts and not just retelling stories and novels.
you can't mix new ideas with the crow because of what the initail piece was for obarr. there should've never been sequel's. for film sake movie wasn't bad. best part is the intro where it cuts from narrator to chic running. get a better camera for next film and actors need more... awesome job with locations.
To give you a history, the fan films were original shorts that were Crow based for a club event that happened during Wondercon in San Francisco 04'. None of the films had backing, budget, nor financial gain. Robert Rodriguez once told us in the audience, that if you can get a strong point across with a cheap video camera, then you are further off better than a novice with a $20,000 camera. Am glad that didn't stop us from doing it because it opened doors to better projects.
Nice action amigo! Actors are fantastic!!

I'm sorry but I fail to see how this has anything to do with the crow.

Also, the story goes into the Myth of the Crow and where the souls go to when they die. That's the connection,
Plus, it was done with NO budget and NO backing (obviously)
