@guerillabill That stinks. I was just going to make one years after they came out. LOL What do you think of the new Panda setup? It's customizable just like player except way better. Do you need a Google+ Invite? Message me and I'll give you one. I like your Channel. I've watched you for years, rarely ever commented though.

@ProjectCarTV One reason they eliminated the custom players is this past week YouTube announced they will be updating the embedded YouTube players to have HD preview screens, to play HD videos, and to include an option to remove the YouTube logo. Combine this with existing YouTube embed options, and you can do what the custom players did, but with more control. I tried the Cosmic Panda at testtube. Not sure I like it. And I'd love a Google+ Invite. Thanks

@rooksstar According to the new dark player for YouTube, which can't be modified and changed to other colors starting July 2011 (maybe) YouTube is phasing out the support for custom players, And also the page for creating custom player will become the page which is not found (Error 404)

@babygurrll123 When you visit YouTube, you'll either see your account name on the far right of the screen or a login option. If you see your account name, use the drop down arrow beside the name and choose 'account'

When clicking on my name all the options I have are My Channel, Subscriptions, Inbox, My Videos, Account, and Favorites. Account takes me to 'account settings' which is nothing like what you have. And there is nothing close to 'my account' or 'new custom player'. Why can't I find it?

If you have your own web site or blog, and want to include YouTube videos, a custom player is a good way to do it.

You can create a 'video jukebox' of YouTube videos on a specific topic or from a specific producer.

Look above and see if you see the link for 'YouTube beta player' below the video.

If you see it, click to see the new player options.

You have to be logged into YouTube before you see the 'my account' link.

After you log in, click that link, then click 'custom players'.

Yes, just post the code from YouTube into the blog page. The custom player will show up for that blog post.

Copy the code youtube creates, and using an html editor, paste the code into the page.

Then upload the page using an ftp program.

This assumes you are not using a content publishing program which allows you to update your pages online.

If that is the case, just copy the youtube code and paste in the content page on your site.

Copy and paste that code into your html pages.
