I do think they have a tendency to speed up songs like Ben Folds said - this song in particular is quite a bit faster than the original. I think it made a lot of sense when they were a trio to give their version a groove that made up for the lack of a rhythm and bass section. Now that they have it, I would like to hear it a bit closer to the original tempo and see what that's like. I still love them, this version, and the original trio version.
