I was singing it wrong all these years. I was saying "Vote Goat, Para Presidente" All I remembered is TBS, the dummy, and goat election theme. I like my "vote goat" way of saying it better though, after watching this. 1:00 goes hard with the reverbed kazoo and clap,1:20 groove as well and 2:16 groove with the screaming wolf lmao. Someone should remix this. RON PAUL, Para Presidente! 2012
Ah ah, Bob Dole election campaign against Clinton... Dole was trying to reach the Hispanic vote that year and Rudy and Gogo lampooned with glee (hence the para presidente skit). I especially remember the "I am from the party of Lincoln speech" and R and G immediately following up with short with a Lincoln puppet and a song that said "I dont give a care" at a rhyming point where it should have rhymed with duck... Very brilliant proto-adultswim stuff going on there...
@tanyadawn555 I used to think I'd never here this again, myself. None of my friends even remember it, so I thought I may have imagined the entire damn thing.
OMG!!! I thought I was the only one with this great tune stuck in my head for well over 10 years! This is real nostalgia! THANK YOU, THANK YOU FOR POSTING IT!
I've had that song stuck in my head since I was 9...and 13 years later, it STILL is play'n in my head.
Those were the days...long before Saved By The Bell, Everybody Loves Raymond, Family Guy, Seinfeld, Friends, Bill Engval, Frank Caliendo, & The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air filled up most of TBS, which also is watchable.
I wonder if you remembered Weird Al doing a special block for The Flintstones on TBS back in the 1990s as well. Now there's comedy if I have ever seen it. Weird Al hailing Bedrock
I first saw this during the ill-fated election season of 2004, and it cheered me up a lot.
I dunno if you'd have to have grown up watching old cartoons on TV in the 60's to dig this as much as I do, but randomly thinking to search for it on youtube and FINDING it has certainly done it for me again as we wend our ways though this incredibly absurd and scary election season of 2008.
I saw this when I was like....I don't know 11 and I thought this was the most entertaining thing I've seen in forever. And for almost 15 years I have had this song stuck in my head! And Now with the presidential race going, I vote GoGo Para Presidente!
Sweet Jesus!! I saw this ONLY ONCE when they did this show and the tune has been in my head for almost 20 years!!! Sometimes I can't get it out!!!! Argggggghhh!!!
OMG I remember this. This is awsome. THANKS FOR POSTING NONPRODUCTIVE!!!!!!!!!!! I gave this 5 stars. I told my friends do you remember this, and they said no until i showed it to them on youtube. Know they all no what im talking about. THANKS AGAIN!!!!!
RUDY AND GO GO!!! Man I loved this stuff! I remember watching it in between Joe Bob's Monstervision on TNT. I loved it because it was so unprofessional compared to the rest of TV, which made it even better! :)
I remember seeing this on nickelodeon for some reason. What was it, why was it on, I can't tell! But I've been looking for it for a while, and it dawned on me to search here. Found it. Now I just have to figure out what the f- it is.
Actually the show aired on TNT from 1995 to 1997, it was never picked up by TBS (however Cartoon Planet was on TBS for a little while in 1995). This is one pretty damn entertaining clip tho, I wish this show was still on.

I'm amazed someone actually has this old thing and uploaded it.

So it wasn't just some alcohol induced dream I'd had at about 4:30 A.M. after dozing off during Mad Monster Party, back in the mid 90's.

It was on the Rudy and GoGo show on TBS... a very weird Cartoon Planet style show. This was the Goat's Election commercial.
