Too bad the animation isn't of a rod with a notch or a crack. you'd be able to see why rods come apart and shoot out the side of blocks.

@soverato3 Yea they do, after a while of high revs they stretch too. Thats why in racing they replace them all the time to ensure exact tolerances.
