@10SparrowHawk I think that a soaring season in the UK would be great experience for US pilots. They are used to riding high with stong thermals, try soaring 500km with a CB of 5000ft and thermal averages of 3-5kts.

Would absolutely love to come over to the UK and soar with you all. :) Some of the videos I have see you guys take is just spectacular flying over 1000 shades of green fields and hills. I'm in Italy in 2012 for a summer holiday but maybe I can make it to the UK in 2013. Thanks for the invite. :) Bruno

@bviv Your welcome any time dude, check out windrushers gliding club and take a look at the airfield, its an old WW2 base with all of the original features, and we winch which I bet is something your not used too.
