  • worf came on picards arm

  • thatll teach em to have animal on board

  • i really wish they showed a vulcan on this ep, i'm interested to see what they would of turned into

  • Gates mcfadden did a good job except! Data could have easily knocked him out

  • Safest place to be is behind Data!!!

  • @Krshna28 Why can't Data just knock him out?

  • i wonder what it is that worf becomes

  • it almost sounds The Incredible Hulk is about come smashing through that door donsn't it, this one greatest episodes of TNG series i was watching the episode

today on dvd lately i've going through the entire run of Star Trek been starting with TOS, through TAS, moving on to the first 6 cinema releases then got on to TNG started on DS9 last month now i'm going through TNGS7 then next month its DS9S2 alternating between VOYGER & DS9 & TNG movie series then bomeing full circule with Enterprise

  • Worf pisses on Picard to exert domiance! >.< Anyone else notice that Worf is HUGE in the hallways, but then shrinks down to human size to fit in the Jeffery's Tube? LOL.

  • Picard has just got to be the best starfleet captain ever.Always logic wise and brave decisions. Patrick Stewart is a helluvan actor, too.

  • One of my favorite episodes! I loved seeing a de-evolved Worf. Makes me curious to know more about the evolution of the Klingon species.

  • @Ruby76299 He's more paranoid and anxious than usual, because he's been infected by the synthetic T-Cell and is in the process of devolving himself.

  • @Ruby76299 Yes, because Vulcans are the absolute best, especially Spock and Sarek. :)

  • thats not nurse ogawa...its dr zeus from planet of the apes.

  • I agree. The premise of this episode was utterly ridiculous, but the way it actually played out was really tense and scary and well-done.

  • @Ruby76299 he isn't the same as the real Picard. Similar virus affects him, which makes him less confident then he used to be when in human form...

  • @Ruby76299 he was affected by the virus so he was feeling 10 times more paranoid than he would've normally..

  • i think picards holding his cool in this weakened mental state better than i would with an arm full of thorizine in the same situation!i would long ago had shit sliding down my legs, and tears streaming down my face!and i wouldnt have went anywhere or done anything other than head right back to the shuttlecraft and get the f--- out of there as quick as i could.id leave data there to solve it.that proto-klingon has a good sporting chance at making scrap out of data, much less little ol me!

  • @irishbreakfast

ROOOOOFL...XD Shit sliding dowm my legs....LOL.....

  • @Ruby76299 picard was at that tiem reverting towards a primate state, with a heightened sense of awareness and paranoia, worf on the other hand became a giant, walking... CRAB

  • fuckin episode made no sense but super worf was cool.

  • Worf is badass in this ep

  • Seeing what a Proto-Klingon is like makes me wonder what the hell kind of natural predators and enemies they had back then that they to be like that...

  • @ShadowSonic2 Like humans i suspect it was each other. No other creature comes close to us humans today. However like human evolution the Klingons that survived best were probably the intelligent ones not the bigger ones.

But Klingons are still bad ass today. Much more bad ass than us measly humans

  • I wish they had shown him (de-evolved Worf) in better light..

  • @Ruby76299 umm, Picard was shaken because he was beginning to devolve into a lower primate with heightened awareness and an instinct to hide.

  • A Klingon Dinosaur? The fuck can you do against a Klingon Dinosaur? Normal Klingons are bad enough, but take that and combine it with a T-Rex? Fuck that!!

  • haha superworf. love.

  • maybe it was a Halloween episode?

  • Maybe she was new to directing... Anyway, I liked that is was a departure from the 'norm' and putting the characters in unfamiliar situations.

  • super worf... haha, that's hilarious

  • The plot was ridiculous. The whole premise insults your intelligence. I expect more out of star trek than this.

  • You got that right, basing a whole episode on an unproven theory is not a good idea

  • @Drewh313 You took the words right out of my mouth.

  • I'm not sure if it's the reason, but this was directed by Dr. Crusher (Gates McFadden), haha. Maybe she sucks at directing. I didn't mind the story, though. Not one of my favorites, but I still enjoyed it.

  • LOL at Picard shitting himself!

  • Lol, Picard is REALLY scared.

  • Comment removed

  • this was by far one of the best episodes!, excellent story and atmosphere!

  • scariest episode

  • Have you ever seen a bald chicken? :D

  • Picard versus Super Horny Worf...

  • lets face it. when star trek was good it was good. but it could also be bad. one week they would give us a great episode like this or yesterdays enterprise. then the next week they would put out nothing but shit, such as the most toys or menage a troi

  • Whos afraid of the big bad wolf

  • Yes I'm fine Mr. Data... pr.. proceed ;-;

  • this was the best episode so far i think

  • does anyone have the part where dr crusher says "worf open your mouth" and he sprays her with the venom? that part was always funny.

  • Data could take him

  • I still have nightmares from watching this ep as a kid!!

  • I can't see where Worf's eyes are.

  • The Klingons have gotten a lot prettier from evolution.

Was there ever an explanation on why the Klingons had no forehead ridges in tos but the did in the movies and tng?

  • The make-up budgets were different.

  • "Was there ever an explanation on why the Klingons had no forehead ridges in tos but the did in the movies and tng?"

the tos klingons were genetically modified (which is why they have ridges in enterprise)

  • Really? They encountered the klingons on at least 3 occasions (probably more). I don't think that all of them would be genetically modified.

  • it may just of beeen that the producers didnt think about the ridges and then made a save , but which sounds better? lol your probably right

  • Cool how Picard takes out monster worf.

  • The smarter strategy would have been to have Data hit Worf a few times to scare him off. Data is still much stronger than the proto-Worf.

  • "What is it?"

    "It is large"
