  • Does anyone know why some of it black out.I couldn't even see them''Please tell me old dum coultry man.Jack longshot11

  • @TheLongshot11 poor lighting i am guessin..

  • I think they debuted on the charts in like late 76 or early 77 with Heaven's just a sin away. And they had a total of like what?????maybe 6 or 7 chart singles???? but those were 6 or 7 CLASSIC country songs......They just sound real....not like this fake-ass crap everybody calls country music now.

  • @MultiBaldEagle If i understand right when the first shipped "Heaven" to the Djs they were originally planning of the other side of the record being their hit, but in the contrary the Djs started playing the opposite side of the record which was "Heaven" and thats where their career really took off

  • @Mattea68 ..... I still love Jeanie's voice.....and that original "Old Telecaster" sound of the lead guitar. It defined their sound and their style.

  • @MultiBaldEagle I agree it is clean but yet has some strength to it w/o sounding wimpy. This is when Country Music WAS country music vs the crap comin out now and the so called entertainers who cant sing to save their lives

  • Jeannie's voice is amazing! I love hearing her live. It's rare to see singers live with such talent these days. Did anybody notice she is like stick thin in this video!

  • I never thought i would find The Kendalls singing live. I discovered them in 2004 and have been madly in love with Jeannie's voice since. Its strong but so feminine and she hits those notes with such ease. My favorite song is Once More! I'm so glad she has continued to record! Look at how stick thin she is in this video! Love Love Love Jeannie's voice...and her outfits. This was back when singers (such as Jeannie) could actually sing and not spend years in a recording studio to produce one song

  • real country not like the garbage on the radio now

  • @unclejess71 I love your comment! Way cool!

  • 1972,Greenville,SC..my Dad owned a nightclub and The Kendalls were just starting out and they performed there on 3 occasions.I was 13 at the time, they came to our house and everything. It was great, will follow with some pics when I get them from my Dad...The club was called.."COBRA CLUB"

  • If i understand right, Jeannie always wore a hat because it was kind of her trademark. You will also notice how neatly her and her dad royce were dressed not a hair out of place etc. These so called country music musicians need to take a lesson and learn to sing. this was SINGING vs the junk out now

  • awesome!!

  • I think i would check into their last name, I think it was originally KuyKendall but they changed it for some reason. It wasnt meant to be a bad statement, its just what i heard, you have to remember if you visited their studio in 79 jimmy, they probably had their name shortened when they started out in the early 70s, I grew up with their music and nothing nowdays comes close to this good stuff

  • Their music is so good, it's just like a good kick in the SINS..

  • OMG! Country music the way it should be! Today, We have shitty country music on the radio

  • oh so true

  • My favorite of their's is "Heaven's Just a SHINN Away"... LOL !

  • when country music was country!

  • @NotTooObvious You are so right on the money with the comment "When country music was country" They sang about real things. Not about the trash 'country singers' sing today.

  • Shinnin' ?? I think it's SINNIN' !! If there is any way possible, please change the spelling! Spelling is wrong at least two places!!

  • Wasnt Royce and Jeannies Real last name KUYKENDALL or something like that but they shortened it

  • NO their name was really Kendall. I visited thier recording studio back in '79.

  • I`m a huge kendalls fan.I love their music.

  • I hope the Kendall's are making some money off your posting.

Whatever.... nice to see and hear them...

  • Little bit of Trivia for Kendalls Fans, Mac Watkins on the Guitar is Jeannies Husband

  • A big fan of the Kendalls*****Thank you for

    posting.

    Thank you Shirley for sending.

  • Another good Kendall's song that I love. Thank you for sharing.Shirley

  • This is what COUNTRY MUSIC was meant to be instead of the so called country nowdays. It was a sad day when Royce passed away but Jeannie is still going

  • my favorite from royce and jeanie

  • Outstanding.

  • It Don't Feel Like SINNIN' To Me
