@xM3F thanks homie. yeah it's allowing me to look at samples from a WHOLE new perspective. I need a hi-pass filter for it though =( guess I will have to find another route to the same destination. Perhaps I need a DJ mixer to help with this.
ahhhhh!! That's on the money Fam, that XL has alot of punch to it so don't blow ya speakers out with killer hot beats you will make on it LOL, you R about to become a beast wit it, do ya thing Surj!! Clint... 1
Hey man! Great work! Keep it up! By the way, have you heard of the Beat Thang Virtual? It's an awesome sampler that's got tons of sick sounds! You should check it out and let me know what you think!
@THEdrumjunkie15 Thanks man. I checked out a video for that sampler. Personally it doesn't suit my style. I like to keep things raw from vinyl, like if it's not something i personally possess on wax, it's not something I would use. Just a rule I created for myself. But thanks for tellin' me about it! Peace.
Sounds really good man! You should check out our Beat Thang Virtual software. It's got tons of sounds, a built-in sampler, and is easy to start making beats right off the bat (and a bunch of other features as well). Definitely keep on producing those beats and peace out!...
@optimystikill i am LOVING this machine. To be honest I was scared to make my first beat. I've spent the past month just choppin' drums and building my own collection but I only decided last night that it's time to finally learn how to use it beyond SAMPLE, CHOP, SAVE haha. I actually am afraid of turning it off now because it's my first time saving the sequences and programs. afraid I didn't save something right. Thanks for checkin' it peace man!
@jibber951 Thanks. Really loving it. Feels like it's a part of my family now haha. I might buy an EB16 effects board for it. Kinda pricey but I would love to have a little reverb at the least.
Aight, i hear you... i'm looking for one myself. Had a friend of a friend who wanted to sell his board for 100 bucks but realised last minute how rare they are and ended up keeping it! I really would love to have one, but can't justify spending 400 dollars on it... On the other hand, i can safely say that the lowpass filter of the 2000 sounds WAY better than the ones on the newer MPC's... :-)
how long u been fuckin with the mpc? were u using FL before?

@TonyMahoneybeats Thanks for all the comments. I've been using the MPC since February. Before that I used Reason.

@mi777ke777 Thanks, Mike. Samples are from Fleetwood Mac's "Oh Well". Really trippy 9 minute long song.

the sample choice is nice...i think it would sound nice with harder hitting drums, but then again that's just a personal preference .
