I've always felt that this movie was the odd man out in the mst3k program. There's a lot to like about this movie, the idea of international collaboration for one, the actual existence of a plot for the other. I wish they had spent some time exploring the ideological subtext of it, because it really is a propaganda film in the guise of an SF adventure. Instead they treated it as the usual poor homegrown SF fare.

The day the teddy bears fly to Venus is my favorite line from that whole movie- Their "spacesuits" look just like that.
