  • I used to have a mandolin..and i play the guitar, piano, double bass etc all self taught.

  • I guess if it makes you happy. I think you should listen to more mandolin music to get a better idea of what good mandolin playing sounds like. but keep it up.

  • There are alot of books on how to play the mandolin/

  • Mandolincafe.com may be able to help you find someone to repair it. Or, hand it on the wall as a momento to days gone by. You can purchase a decent playabot mandoline for a little as $100 new from some music shops.

  • Thats awsome!! I have an old old old Mandolin that belonged to my Great-Grandparents or my Great-Great ones I'm not sure. I needs some repair to the neck. I have a few shops around here and no one will touch it. Any ideas?

    i use the tef program to show me how to play beginning tunes that they offer. it's a great way to learn stuff.
