I guess if it makes you happy. I think you should listen to more mandolin music to get a better idea of what good mandolin playing sounds like. but keep it up.
Mandolincafe.com may be able to help you find someone to repair it. Or, hand it on the wall as a momento to days gone by. You can purchase a decent playabot mandoline for a little as $100 new from some music shops.
Thats awsome!! I have an old old old Mandolin that belonged to my Great-Grandparents or my Great-Great ones I'm not sure. I needs some repair to the neck. I have a few shops around here and no one will touch it. Any ideas?
