@FrankiE892525 All the new G-Lides are glossy.  You can get some other regular 5600 models with matte resin parts though. The DW-5600E-1 is the plain black one.

Once again,

the characters of the display being so small.

As for ones when they ride their bicycles as hard as they can.

And don't want to lose concentration of what they be looking at -- on the road.

Cars, obstacles that may come up all-of-a-sudden, etc.

These numerals/characters ---- being for the kids.

"Casio" has a lower end model, without the stupid, moon/itde display.

For the SPACED-OUT headed animals.

But then, that other model has the feaures that the "GShock" has -- that I want.

But NOT have the name of "GShock" nor I assume the upper quality of the "GShock."

But the #1 reason why I look at the "Casio glx5600-1dr is that this model be one of 3 models for >2011< .

That amount for 2011 be a great disappointment, for digital watches.

"Casio" just won't make the correct display, be it this model -- nor a neighboring model of the same "GShock" series.

As the trouble with "Casio" be the undersize characters.

In this watch I like the functionality and the crisp LCD.

In the other side, I am not a big fan of the glossy finish in the bezel and the bands, because it seems that they can be scratched easily.
