Just bought a huge ass poster of the Normandy for my room. And yeah I think everyone has or will look at all their games and realize how superior mass effect is, even if you dont like RPG's or shooters you appreciate this game. Best series in history of gaming.

A well-made and worthy tribute to the SR1. And congratulations for actually putting some thought into the theme music. I was certain that I'd hear the same screeching guitars/screaming vocals/inane rap music that just about every one of these "tribute" vids has.

Just saw the trailer for Mass Effect 3 not long ago.. And it seemed like just the other day I was anxiously awaiting a sequal at the end of Mass Effect, after Shepard appointed a human council member and walked off. I would play that game dozens of times over. These will be some of the greatest games ever created.

Part of what makes the Normandy so awesome is she's a nimble ship maned be a cleaver crew and in ME2 has a smart and sassy AI.

Is it wrong that I cried when the Normandy went down at the start of ME2?

Sure the SR-2 has the size, the lab, the thalix cannons, a scottish engineer....But it just dosn't have the soul that made me love my time aboard the SR-1. It was a legend of a ship

It's just not the same, it's just a copy of the real deal. Granted I loved that scene to bits but when alls said and done, I'd still go for SR-1 Normandy over SR-2 Normandy anyway.

The Normandy SR1 is verry light and the drive is 3x the size of its average size... Hence the nimbleness.

I think my perfect fantasy for the next game, would be a second Normandy Class Ship, called SSV Britain, as in the Battle of Britain, when just a couple of hundred British, Canadian and Polish fighter pilots held the line for four months against the full wrath of the German airforce and in doing do, ensured Britain remained free and a strategic jumpoff point for (Yes) the Battle of Normandy and the D-Day landings

Near as I can tell, the Normandy is at least the size of a C-5 Galaxy, the biggest thing ever to fly in the modern skies (Hell, she's probably far bigger than that) yet she handles like an F-22 Raptor. She's a born dogfighter and in the next game, I want to see her dogfighting, not in a big fleet engagment, but just letting her let rip and have Joker show us just what she can really do. The name alone is so perfect too, Normandy, as in the D-day Normandy landings

Well, there isn'ta whole lot of footage of the Normandy. Even so, she's a beautiful ship and in the next game, I want to see her in a dogfight. Not only does she look good, but she sounds great too, that scream as she blasts overhead is enough to get me cheering

Yeah, this was a tribute more to the Normandy as a whole - a ship, a crew, an idea - rather than just to the starship, thus there's plenty footage of it's interiors and people who serve as it's crew (with addition of a newcomer, Ashley Williams). :) I surely understand what you meant - there's something special about SSV Normandy, something that makes her stand out from all those starships seen in Sci-Fi... I'm pretty sure that we'll see more of her in ME2!
