@MuscleBound M30 Leatherwood 30mm red dot with let me guess, utg third generation ak scope mount? I had that set up you had on my ak. Got mine from centerfiresystems with 4 mags and a bayonet for 399 shipped. Since then I changed out the furniture with the K-var stock set nato length. I put that red dot on mine but sold it before I shot it. Is is parallax free, or do you have to center the dot in the tube for it to be shot accurately?
@crest2598 Yes it's a UTG, not sure the generation, it has the lever to clamp it on without screws. It is indeed a m30 leatherwood red dot. I had to sight it in a little yes. I got mine with 3 magazines (one circle 10 and two circle 21) from centerfire for 369.99
when you got youre was it tight fit? when you look down hthe gun from the rear sight to the front was the barrel a little off to the right or the left? cuz i bought a century arms m70 ab2 & when you look down the gun the barrel is a little off to the right it bugs!
@juggla4evr1 Sights are straight as far as I can tell. The sight itself needs to be adjusted, it's came pushed all the way to the right and Ive been meaning to get an AK sight adjusting tool, but havn't yet since i usually use the red dot sight. Apart from needing to be sighted the front sight post is perfectly straight. I know CAI has had poor quality and reliability, but this gun was better than I expected. maybe I just got lucky?
@APatrioticRebel I have never fired an aresenal, so I can not really compare the two.s. I haven't experienced any keyholing from this rifle, it actually seems very accurate with just a red dot at 100 yards. Never a malfunction from it except when bump firing with the scope mounted with the side rail. For 369.99 I think it's a great deal. An arsenal cost about twice that, but for me this rifles is just fine.
Looks like your masterbating with an AK.
