@ilovewolves17 A lip piercing? Mostly depends on your pain tolerance. I pierced the left side of my lip my myself. Did'nt hurt at at all. I recently got the right side done a month ago professionally and that hurt a tad worse because of the clamp. But overall I give the pain a 4.

@zagorae93 some piercers kind of specialize in needle phobia, they can talk you through the process so well. Don't be scared, like this piercer said: it's just a pinch. It will kind of hurt, for 2 seconds max. Then another pinch when they put in the jewelry, and that's it. You'll survive :) Lips are soft, so it doesn't hurt bad at all. Biting your lip hurts so much worse.

@LexyLovesYew honestly, it is a little pinch, and then it's over. trust me, i have snakebites. the worst part is the second day after, cuz it gets swollen, and the jewelry gets kinda tight, but some ibuprofen stops the swelling. the only thing is your lip will feel sorta tight too, so you'll be hesitant to smile too wide or laugh, but its better if you do (HA! P!ATD reference! TOTALLY accidental!) cuz you'll get used to it faster. it's worth it, trust me!

The last little push through the lip hurts a tiny bit and it hurts for about an hour after but not to bad. Just like a numb pain that you can easily forget about. :) Its just a pinch with a tiny tiny bit of pain.

I don't use novacain at the dentists when i get fillings because im afraid of the needle in my gums. But somehow i did this. I can tell you it DOES NOT hurt like you'd imagine. i was scared to death and the only thing i felt was a pinch and a burning afterwards. It hurts more while the piercing heals than when you get it done. Go for it!! It's not that bad!
