  • @ Ozznize - sometimes the lyrics will print a tamer word because some people get offended too easily. I would bet a hundred bucks that he is singing "fucking" despite what the lyric sheet says. Even Paula Abdul has one says that she clearly sings "fuck" a couple of times, but the lyric sheet says "rock."

  • 2 people havn't seen 'Zoo-Keeper'.

  • I met the girl across the sea,

She saved my life and came with me

A tender night of dark persuasion,

Could be my first and last occasion________

    You supply the night, baby,

    I'll supply the love

  • incredible

  • The jam that begins at 2:45 rocks so much, it could've been it's own tune...

  • @bearmassaro Totally!!!

  • zookeeper : )

  • @shenalse I was watching that in the pictures and when it came on I was like "Oh yes."

  • i had to check the lyrics for 0:40 because i really thought that he said "i hear the same old fucking reason", although he actually says fourteen. whatever, it will always be "fucking" for me!

  • @Ozznize

Sure sounds like "fucking" to me...that word makes more sense, too.

  • best intermiddle ever ,line bass is great

  • Bobby has so much soul. Wow...Just listen to that! ! They are all giving 110%. I wish we had bands like this on the radio now.

  • I love this song!!!

  • are they still around?

  • their first lp was theire best lot of good stuff

  • Pure gold jam...fuck yea ┈━═☆

  • always loved this tune as a kid ....i think if this song were edited before the bass solo at 2:50 ...you would hear this on the radio as many times as "hold the line" ....is that your autographed album? thanks for posting...

  • That bass riff is just incredible

  • Dawg, who's the motherfucker who disliked it?

  • @R17101 2 now (I am NOT the second person BTW)

  • Such a classic!

  • Great Track! One of the best and one of the most underrated! TOTO ROCKS!

  • possibly the best rock debut of the 20th century

  • One of the finest pop/rock songs of ALL TIME, end of story.

  • 1 person didnt supply the love

  • No dislikes, that's how great this song is!

  • Great song! If you listen to the radio you would think the only song Toto released was that bloody awful "Africa".

  • @densaner77 what u talkin about man? Africa is still a great song hahaha but i know where ur comin from, this is actual rock music, Africa is pretty dam soft.

  • @Bladerunner1906. Africa is okay I suppose. However it is totally unlike the rest of their work. Apart from Hold the Line radio doesn't appear to play any of their other tunes. Thanks be to Youtube!

  • @Bladerunner1906 Toto were "pretty damn soft" a lot of the time. Only the first one or two albums had a slightly more rock oriented feel, as soon as "Toto IV" came out, they went more for either ballads, jazz fusion-y driven "rock" tracks (i use the term loosely), or pop songs (stranger in town, straight through the heart).

Though I do like pretty much all of their first 7 albums.

  • I see a horseman in the sky It makes me stop and wonder why I hear the same old fourteen reasons Must be the changin' of the seasons

I met a girl across the sea She saved her life and came to me A tender night of dark persuasion Could be my first and last occasion

  • pioneers of real music

  • One of the greatist. Why radio doesnt play it is beyond me.

  • @Pwrcritter I agree. I cannot believe I've never heard this song before I saw it here.

  • FANTASTIC!

  • jizz in my pants

  • what a sound !

  • Monster bass. Hungate's like no other.

  • @Pwrcritter Try Tom Araya his bass has more presence than most.

  • @poketfulashelz I think Tom is so good because of how many damn vowels are in his name, 5 out of 8 ain't bad.

  • I know David Paich and 3 Porcaros from James Newton Howard album. This is also nice debut for Toto firm.

  • good bye girl kicks ass too, on this record.

  • omg, my favorite toto song from the debut...

  • thank you. a 10~

  • Kick-ass A+ song.

    Toto~

  • When I was a kid a girl gave me a box full of albums and this one was in there and it was a wonderful experience for me. Not one song on the album is bad, imo. I later found out that the box was her ex boyfriend's, oh well, loser weepers, finders keepers, omg there were some good ones in there!!

  • @tpmh37

you are right, there is not one bad song, you can listen to the album from start to finish and not hit skip once.

  • @tpmh37 I'll agree with you there. The first Toto album was excellent from beginning to end. Not a bad song on the whole record...

  • True rock music!

  • Jot

  • not quite
