Do a first trip with a small dose and then move your way up from there. There are lots of different ways and places of doing it, but first of all it should be safest enviroment possible. No stress of any sort should be involved and you should be in the best mood possible, because it will enchance your state ofmind.

if you are planning on doing acid then be extremely careful and just relax and enjoy being alive, STAY HYDRATED, AND FED. because i nearly went insane while on it. too many things were okay.. ran around a sand field throwing rocks in the air testing the gravity with no shoes or pants on carrying an empty backpack and sat on an old dirty couch for about a half hour and stared at a busted tv someone had dumped there. one hit. 10 bucks.

even these debates about what real acid visuals are really like, kind of miss the point. there is a lot, lot more to tripping than just seeing things. the visuals are almost a side-note for me. for an introduction to what LSD is really about, look up the article The Acid Queen by Robert Hunter. If you want to know what experiencing a real acid trip looks like,
see the youtube video "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas - The Hotel". From 1:12 to 1:25 is the closest that I've seen on video to what it's like during a real acid trip - very accurate. Now imagine that going on for about 12 hours while you feel more stoned than any weed could get you - that's a real acid trip.

If you are ego driven you will become often uncomfortable or scared. I just laugh real hard at first and then its followed a profound understanding of your connection to everything and if its good enough shit you should be able to connect with others in a way that has never been so real.
