it just one night before, imam syuraim came to my university (malaysia) to lead the tarawih prayer, with another imam from mesir. His recitation (syuraim) was very-very good, beautiful, energetic n heart-trembling..and was the best from him compared with what i've found in youtube. more melody n high pitch.Masya Allah.

Funny,as I recall,there were no Islamic religious organisation that had specified English alphabetical spelling for certain words in Islamic terms.
For example,you wrote Muhammad as "Muhammed",Most American simply wrote it as "Mohammed".However,no Muslim argue with each other over an English alphabetical spelling difference translated into Islamic term.You are simply making a mountain out of a molehill.

NO ONE can write, can tell, can say, can dictate the EXACT English Spelling of Arabic Words.... ARABIC is DIFFERENT from ENGLISH, EVEN the pronunciations are DIFFERENT, the EXACT PRONUNCIATION of ARABIC WORDS cannot be written in ENGLISH alphabet so ANYONE is FREE to write any spelling of the word MUHAMMAD or ARABIC WORDS in ENGLISH ALPHABET so long as the pronunciation is close to the ORIGINAL...
