Love your honesty and understanding Ka, you rock! I can't follow the Raw Brahs because of the meat/fish eating. It is Paleo not raw. The latest research say we are mainly frugivores.
Great video. I'm 44 years old and in the best shape of my life. I owe that to all the health approaches that I've studied over the years and now incorporate into my healthy lifestyle. Working together, being friendly, and having an open-mind is always the best way. Thank you.
all of you guys look to be (easily ) under 35, and not to mention you all look like you have very good pre-natal Jing (constitution), having success, but some of this I can attest to from my own experience of 25 years raw vegan ( low fat), with a 9 years of mostly fruit this well fail when those reserves you were born with are depleted - somewhere @ 35- 45, Iam 49 and had to seriously do revisions: adding s o m e meat... agree with " we all with INTENTION" , no fighting over specifics :-)
This is exactly the problem. To see all you folks bashing the Raw Brahs is just sad. You missed the entire point of the video! Ka, Chris, the brothers are all thriving and doing well. Seriously how circular and obsessive can this issue get?? Hating over such minor details is a waste of energy & extremely immature.
@manet2000ro Too bad you fundamentalist newbie kids spend more time whining about the raw brahs than you do fighting Monsanto & GMO's...it's absolutely silly. You don't care about fish, you care about making sure you have a self righteous soap box to feel better than others. People with real problems don't obsess about such things.
Spend some time in 3rd world countries like I have, and see how much you care about what a few guys you don't even know having a bit of fish.
@xJustynLx Agreed. Why are people still talking about those three clowns in the raw food movement when they are clearly not eating a raw food diet at all?....It's confusing to me.
Love you too brother, thanks for shooting this, I was actually thinking of shooting a similar video and will simply share this on my site too!! :) I think i look chub in the vid too btw, part back to the sun n part full belly, but whoa I'm going to have to include a Pic of the same day showing a different angle in the sun ahahahah i actually have a 6 pack n am soooo embarrassed ahahahah
In the raw food movement, perhaps there could be unity with those who promote supplements, also raw meat. It would be good advertising for them ;) The rawbrahs are finding a way to promote themselves here. Really no offence because they do seem like nice guys. We have to stand up for good and important causes and stand up to those who threaten these though.
@natureasintended We are still ALL about becoming more healthy. We need to stand together, if we want to change the health of the world, otherwise we use all energy trying to battle each other.
Meat-eater or not I do not care. (That comes from a full-heart-vegetarian!)
@rawfoodfa I like how you've said that, Ka. Im actually a very compassionate and sensitive person; unity/understanding with all people in life is my top priority. With diet/raw on the net, I feel quite strongly about accurate health info being out there and feel concerned when there are high profile people in the raw movement promoting supplements and saying fruit is bad. I understand the rawbrahs arent promoting anything at the moment and are experimenting. Hoping for mutual understanding also.
Fruit is good; clean living is good. But meat/beef is necessary; it has essence which other things do not. Meat is good and satisfying; and a little wine now and then gladdens the heart. There's nothing wrong with eating meat. It's very natural. If for whatever reason you don't want meat; at least eat some eggs and whey protein.
@7Highlander not that im a fanatic vegan-dont mind a little fish sometimes-but there is absolutly no "need" for dead animal tissues.. no need for any protein from animal sources. maybe b12 yes, but not the protein! you will learn that plant amino acids are far superior for building living proteins in your body. eating protein to make protein makes no sense!
@writerightnow Actually thats a belly full of fruit. When one eats large amounts of fruit for a meal the stomach expands and so does ones skin. In the morning before he eats anything he's more skinny than most people.
@writerightnow Nope, sure is. I can take pictures of my belly right now in the morning, then eat a large fruit meal and show you do the difference. It looks the same. In fact I'll do that right now and I'll have a video up sometime today.
@TheRawTeen have you seen him personally, couse Ive been doing this shit long enough to know some stuff bout that! And seeing left and right gurus cheating and doing something else in their private,I dont trust anyone, before I ve spent some time living in one house with him... Im especially suspicious if they are Americans-after the British(not by accident speak English too!) the other masters of the double games and cheating...
@TheRawTeen As for Ka and the Germans-I would much less suspect them in cheating-they are pretty straightforward guys and normally do what they say, even sometimes too much:)
hahaha,Daniel killed me-and this and that ...and ALCOHOL? Man,I was almost waiting for him to say... and burgers? Looks a bit funny, you realize that? and actually these Raw Brahs look best of all:) probably we should stop all this crap about raw food and just get a stake and beer right? hihihi...Im really not sure what Raw Brahs have in common with Raw Food movement?what do you think?
@galimir The belly is just a belly full of fruit. After a meal of 1000 calories+ from fruit with lots of fibre, no matter what you do, you WILL have a belly. After in the morning before he has eaten anything he has no belly as there is nothing to stretch his stomach.
@manet2000ro just to be honest, fair, and truthfull... If the raw brahs were to go fishing in costa rica, and eat the fish they caught. I am 100% sure that would be lower impact and better for the eviornment and animals than a commercial/ imported vegan diet. Think sterile lab made fruits, deforestation, pollution from tractors/planes/boats, mega corporations... if you being honest with reality that is
@HappierHealthierYou Sure, our indirect impact is bad too, change is needed, but that doesn't justify them killing innocent beings. It's like saying 'I can shoot my neighbor because thousands of people die in wars every day'.. This is why the world is so messed up. No ethics.
@manet2000ro ill tell you this, its funny how animals and humans ate each other for millions of years living in perfect harmony with each other and the earth. but you pay taxes to a country destroying the earth and hunting HUMANS, and buying comsumer products that are polluting the world at alarming rates... but its cool becuase you eat veggies and fruits... while a african tribe who eats eat daily has no impact on the earth at all.... hmmmm... i dont think you get it
@HappierHealthierYou Evolve. You don't need to kill for food today, fruit and veg is the healthiest, most sustainable and has less impact on the planet.
Do your best to minimize your impact.
I'm buying 5 acres and will be mostly self sustained in 1-2 years, growing all my food, and haveing minimal impact.
@manet2000ro lol diet dosnt evolve, and that is nto true at all, look to what every animals and HUMAN does on the planet that is lowest impact on all levels! EAT LOCAL, so if you live in costa rica what your saying is pretty accutrate, id defiantly eat fish though. but if you live in the midwest, and are importing all your food, thats high impact as you can get. but growing your own food is great. garden, wild food harvest, hunt, fish, water harvest, eventually solar power
@HappierHealthierYou of course diet evolves.. in a survival situation I'd hunt down a tiger and eat it if I had no fruit and veg.. we don't need to do that anymore.
Eating local animals has more impact than importing fruit btw. Animal farming is destroying our planet.
Man.. what's up this obsession with fish I just can't get it..
@manet2000ro Me personally fishing for food is not destroying anything LOL! What are you talking about, animals do eat from my garden, im cool with ithaha! and if industrialization did not kill them all they would eat me if they had a chance! lol your funny! Your fruit only exist becuase of industrial complexes that killed the animals. veganism could not exist with without industrial complexes that nautre nature. youd rather a eskimo eat bananas than a seal :(
@HappierHealthierYou 'Me personally fishing for food is not destroying anything LOL! ' -right, if it was only you.. or a few million people in total, BUT we are 7 BILLION strong and still growing, will hit 10 billion in a few decades..
-if everybody just eats 1 fish a day that's 7 BILLION fish/day!!! Do you really think that's sustainable??? NO IT ISN'T!!!
-90% of the oceans are destroyed.. more and more rainforest is destroyed every day to raise cattle and feed..
@HappierHealthierYou -do I have to go on and on.. just look around and think.. use logic.. a plant based diet is the most sustainable, ethical, healthiest and environment friendly;
@manet2000ro i do look around and think, like every animal in the world. Eat whats whole, local, and organic. Think if mokeys in south america started a corporation to import bananas from thailand becuase they were not local to them hmmm. or if a lion wanted to be ethical and grew a massive soy mono crop to eat tofu instead of a gazelle. not to logical, sustainable. You cant undertsand becuase your way to americanized. go tell thios logic to the svages in africa who never hurt the enviornment
@HappierHealthierYou Address feeding the 7-10 billion people issue please don't beat around the bush. How do you feed people in New York sustainably? By cutting down the rainforest?
I was born and raised in a poor Eastern European country BTW., and know damn well what poverty and living off the land means.
You need to look at the big picture here not the African savage but the 7 billion and rapidly growing .. you can't feed them animals without destroying the environment.
@manet2000ro you cant feed them tropical sterile fruit either dude. did you ever research what that means. it means that the crop has one life cycle and cant reproduce because it is man made. so every time you harvest you start at square one and get the machienes back out. then fly them in. also did you know that rare funguses acttack them, they they have ot take the fruit and install a fungal resistant gene. and that bananas are facing extiction becuase of that. is that sustainable.
@HappierHealthierYou I said feed them plant foods. Feed them sustainable foods. Feed them food that doesn't pollute our veggies with e.coli and salmonella..
Of course we need to change growing practices and use permaculture vs. mono-crops too, to avoid diseases, soil depletion, etc.
Plant based is the way to go and there's no one decent argument to bring up for animal farming..
@manet2000ro well health would be one right out of the gate. im not saying eating 99% meat. im saying a plant based deit with meat, you know the diet we have one since the begining of time. there is nothing un-sustainable about a small gradd fed beer farm in southern ohio dude. im from there TRUST ME. thats just about the least evil things going on, in this world lol. you might want to take your agression away from a amish farmer and towards monsanto, walmart, big pharm lol
@HappierHealthierYou I have nothing against the farmer (except of course the ethical reasons, but let's leave that out for now..) but he's not going to feed the 10 million people in NYC with his few cattle..
lol what agression? I'm cool bro we are just exchanging ideas here..
@manet2000ro respond to my comment then, lease tell me how that is wrong. please be honest and fair. your honestly going to say hunting a wild deer like we did for millions of years and never destroyed the land with agriculture or farming, and animals were everywhere becuase we didnt rip their homes down to grow wheat and bananas. are you honestyly going to tell me its better to get an entire wild hunted deer worth of calories from agriculture!!!!
@manet2000ro lol your right the arguement ment of hunting and gathering is old its 2 million years old ahahah your losing badly. and stop with permaculture, the most sustainable low impact way is hunting and gathering. all other ways have been bad for aniamls, our health, and the planets. and you cant get all your caloires from harvesting wild plants, so hence the hunting.
@manet2000ro and cutting down rainforest would be the scenario if every one ate 80-10-10 and only ate fruit from another country. i would suggest they buy meat from local jersey farmers. and buy local produce from farmers markets that farmers bring in from jersey also. Not a tropical fruit diet. but a local plant based diet that gets calories from animal products instead of flying those calrioes infrom the tropics.
@HappierHealthierYou you don't need to fly in anything you can grow plants anywhere, I didn't say feed them bananas, they can eat potatoes or whatever.
It still doesn't make sense to make plant food than feed it to the cattle, than eat the cattle.
@manet2000ro well you could also raise animals anywhere... you dont need ot make plant food, you can have them graze on a small plot of land. the grass will regrow itself. I guess thats the point of grass. we cant eat it but animals can.
@HappierHealthierYou yeah but the problem is there are just to many people.. they kill tens of billions of animals each year.. where do you think all of those animals would graze?? there's simply not enough room on the earth for that, we would have to clear ALL the forests, do you really think that's a good idea?
@manet2000ro first of all i dont think we would have to clear forest. also the fact there "too many people" is not a diets fault. The reason there are that many people is beacuase of agriculture and domesticating animals period. you cant argue that, both were bad for the earth. so without those things the earth would be better you cannot argue this. and that is hunting and gathering. SO if you even respond saying its worse for the animals for me to hunt a deer and feed off of it
@HappierHealthierYou I never said it's a diets fault. Of course it was beacuase of agriculture and domesticating animals. that's why we need to get rid of both.
That's why we need to switch to permaculture instead of mono-crops I said that before, pay attention.
@manet2000ro way to dodge my question lol. atleast you didnot lie to yourself. and as you say focus on whats going on now, not the past not the future. And getting six months of calories from hunting a wild deer has less impact on animals and the enviornment of six months of calories from agriculture! doding questions telling me to pay attention, classic behavior of someone getting frusterated because their wrong.
@manet2000ro yea go plant that fruit tree, and see what happens. it will be devoured by insect, bacteria, fungus, and aniamls in second. thats natures way of saying hey i did not create a plant with this muich sugar, so it must be destroyed! lol do your homework buddy.
@manet2000ro but you and your bros splicing that watermellon fro ma tart unedilbe berry, thats the nautral way man. a scientist splicing fruit in the lab with a beaker lol. your fun
@manet2000ro for six months, instead supporting agirculture mono crops! you are lying to yourself becuase of your vegan ego and pride. And your letting your americanized view get in the way of reality. you cant sit here with a staright face and tell me that
@HappierHealthierYou A couple of weeks ago you mentioned eating grass fed beef. This article is well worth reading. Raw Food Health Net 'How To Save The Environment.'
We're all together in one boat :), that's so true. There's always fight between (grass-fed/wild) meat-eaters and vegans, while we just all want the same thing.
Great video, Ka. I feel that we saw a clear illustration of 2 differing situations. With the Rawbrahs we see what it looks like to be "finding your way." With Chris Kendall we see what it looks like when the search is over. Peace - Mike
@Rawgasmic your kidding right? he been on the diet for 8 years, and struggled the first couple, humans have been around for 2 million not on 80-10-10. dont make some hipster guru comment, there are pro athletes that have been on the SAD deit for 30 years and have perfect bodies. be real, life is bigger than you. do not even compare 8 years to 2 million it looks so american yuppie its embarrassing
@HappierHealthierYou YOU must be kidding. During most of the period of human evolution and existence humans have eaten 80/10/10 type diet or close to it. Our relatives chimpanzees, bonobos, and more distantly, gorillas are definite evidence of this. More so,NATIVE PEOPLES of tropical countries. They eat mostly carbs. Your standards must be pretty low or you are awfully ignorant if you describe many pro athletes and their bodies and their health as perfect. How embarrassing 4u
@asnoethias thats a funny assumption, its a fact we have eaten meat even before homosapien. also the fruit available in tropical countries has nothing to do with the fruit in our stores. its nots even the same thing, bananas are lab made and sterile. embarrasing is comparing tropical climates to your own. what about the weather, air, water, fruit, and the fact anyone with resistance to a high fruit diet died?
@HappierHealthierYou You realize anyone on a sad diet lose their "edge" after their 20's cause their body can keep up, while people like durian rider are getting better and better times even in his 30's.
@TheRawTeen im not promoiting a sad diet, im saying 8 years is a joke, you can live off of junk food for 8 yearsand look healthier than the guy in the video. durian lives in the tropics, goes to bed at six, has alot of money from people like you, exercises several hours a day, has wayyy better fruit than you. so i wouldnt chalk that up to diet alone

HappierHealthierYou 1 month ago
@HappierHealthierYou I said feed them plant foods. Feed them sustainable foods. Feed them food that doesn't pollute our veggies with e.coli and salmonella..
Of course we need to change growing practices and use permaculture vs. mono-crops too, to avoid diseases, soil depletion, etc.
Plant based is the way to go and there's no one decent argument to bring up for animal farming..
manet2000ro 1 month ago
@manet2000ro well health would be one right out of the gate. im not saying eating 99% meat. im saying a plant based deit with meat, you know the diet we have one since the begining of time. there is nothing un-sustainable about a small gradd fed beer farm in southern ohio dude. im from there TRUST ME. thats just about the least evil things going on, in this world lol. you might want to take your agression away from a amish farmer and towards monsanto, walmart, big pharm lol
HappierHealthierYou 1 month ago
@HappierHealthierYou I have nothing against the farmer (except of course the ethical reasons, but let's leave that out for now..) but he's not going to feed the 10 million people in NYC with his few cattle..
lol what agression? I'm cool bro we are just exchanging ideas here..
manet2000ro 1 month ago
@manet2000ro respond to my comment then, lease tell me how that is wrong. please be honest and fair. your honestly going to say hunting a wild deer like we did for millions of years and never destroyed the land with agriculture or farming, and animals were everywhere becuase we didnt rip their homes down to grow wheat and bananas. are you honestyly going to tell me its better to get an entire wild hunted deer worth of calories from agriculture!!!!
HappierHealthierYou 1 month ago
@HappierHealthierYou Stop confusing permaculture with agriculture. Do some research, look it up.
Your fish and deer hunting argument is getting old, you're not gonna feed 7 billion people with that..
Parmaculture and plant based is sustainable and environment friendly.
No need to kill to eat, it's 2011. Evolve.
manet2000ro 1 month ago
@manet2000ro lol your right the arguement ment of hunting and gathering is old its 2 million years old ahahah your losing badly. and stop with permaculture, the most sustainable low impact way is hunting and gathering. all other ways have been bad for aniamls, our health, and the planets. and you cant get all your caloires from harvesting wild plants, so hence the hunting.
HappierHealthierYou 1 month ago
@manet2000ro and cutting down rainforest would be the scenario if every one ate 80-10-10 and only ate fruit from another country. i would suggest they buy meat from local jersey farmers. and buy local produce from farmers markets that farmers bring in from jersey also. Not a tropical fruit diet. but a local plant based diet that gets calories from animal products instead of flying those calrioes infrom the tropics.
HappierHealthierYou 1 month ago
@HappierHealthierYou you don't need to fly in anything you can grow plants anywhere, I didn't say feed them bananas, they can eat potatoes or whatever.
It still doesn't make sense to make plant food than feed it to the cattle, than eat the cattle.
Why not just eat the plant food???
manet2000ro 1 month ago
@manet2000ro well you could also raise animals anywhere... you dont need ot make plant food, you can have them graze on a small plot of land. the grass will regrow itself. I guess thats the point of grass. we cant eat it but animals can.
HappierHealthierYou 1 month ago
@HappierHealthierYou yeah but the problem is there are just to many people.. they kill tens of billions of animals each year.. where do you think all of those animals would graze?? there's simply not enough room on the earth for that, we would have to clear ALL the forests, do you really think that's a good idea?
manet2000ro 1 month ago
@manet2000ro first of all i dont think we would have to clear forest. also the fact there "too many people" is not a diets fault. The reason there are that many people is beacuase of agriculture and domesticating animals period. you cant argue that, both were bad for the earth. so without those things the earth would be better you cannot argue this. and that is hunting and gathering. SO if you even respond saying its worse for the animals for me to hunt a deer and feed off of it
HappierHealthierYou 1 month ago
@HappierHealthierYou I never said it's a diets fault. Of course it was beacuase of agriculture and domesticating animals. that's why we need to get rid of both.
That's why we need to switch to permaculture instead of mono-crops I said that before, pay attention.
manet2000ro 1 month ago
@manet2000ro way to dodge my question lol. atleast you didnot lie to yourself. and as you say focus on whats going on now, not the past not the future. And getting six months of calories from hunting a wild deer has less impact on animals and the enviornment of six months of calories from agriculture! doding questions telling me to pay attention, classic behavior of someone getting frusterated because their wrong.
HappierHealthierYou 1 month ago
@HappierHealthierYou Why bother when you can't tell the difference between permaculture and agriculture..
You go hunt that deer bro.. and I'll go plant that fruit tree.. it's all good man.. no hard feelings..:)
manet2000ro 1 month ago
@manet2000ro yea go plant that fruit tree, and see what happens. it will be devoured by insect, bacteria, fungus, and aniamls in second. thats natures way of saying hey i did not create a plant with this muich sugar, so it must be destroyed! lol do your homework buddy.
HappierHealthierYou 1 month ago
@manet2000ro but you and your bros splicing that watermellon fro ma tart unedilbe berry, thats the nautral way man. a scientist splicing fruit in the lab with a beaker lol. your fun
HappierHealthierYou 1 month ago
@manet2000ro for six months, instead supporting agirculture mono crops! you are lying to yourself becuase of your vegan ego and pride. And your letting your americanized view get in the way of reality. you cant sit here with a staright face and tell me that

HappierHealthierYou 1 month ago
@HappierHealthierYou YOU must be kidding. During most of the period of human evolution and existence humans have eaten 80/10/10 type diet or close to it. Our relatives chimpanzees, bonobos, and more distantly, gorillas are definite evidence of this. More so,NATIVE PEOPLES of tropical countries. They eat mostly carbs. Your standards must be pretty low or you are awfully ignorant if you describe many pro athletes and their bodies and their health as perfect. How embarrassing 4u
asnoethias 1 month ago
@asnoethias thats a funny assumption, its a fact we have eaten meat even before homosapien. also the fruit available in tropical countries has nothing to do with the fruit in our stores. its nots even the same thing, bananas are lab made and sterile. embarrasing is comparing tropical climates to your own. what about the weather, air, water, fruit, and the fact anyone with resistance to a high fruit diet died?
HappierHealthierYou 1 month ago
@HappierHealthierYou You realize anyone on a sad diet lose their "edge" after their 20's cause their body can keep up, while people like durian rider are getting better and better times even in his 30's.
TheRawTeen 1 month ago
@TheRawTeen im not promoiting a sad diet, im saying 8 years is a joke, you can live off of junk food for 8 yearsand look healthier than the guy in the video. durian lives in the tropics, goes to bed at six, has alot of money from people like you, exercises several hours a day, has wayyy better fruit than you. so i wouldnt chalk that up to diet alone
