  • hey so what your saying is put the mic in there?

and if so how is this done because i record as well and was planing on building a booth that someone could fit in and if you put your mic in there wouldnt you have to scream in order for it to pick up your sound

  • The open end will still permit sound into the mic. However since the chamber helps reduce reverberation caused by room acoustics, it will still sound a little muffled. But you can compensate for this with either a subtle high frequency shelf to enhance consonants or bumping up your mic gains by a couple of DB or a combination of both.

  • cool. i might need to do this because theres loads of early reflections in my room that always spoil my vocals...

  • I live near a busy road and have been dealing with allot of ambient noise getting into my recordings. However placing my microphone into my anechoic chamber will reduce ambient noises and improve the sound quality of my recordings. I will soon be posting another video explaining how this works.

  • cools ^^ whats it do >_>

  • what is it used for.

  • That's awesome, man.
