Led Zep is one of my favorites, but dear friend The Beatles were the most versatile band ever. Not just pop. I also did not know this was a competition. I tend to love music and do not approach it like a football game. Both bands are great.

@StevenSpates I think it's very fair to say that both the Beatles and Led Zeppelin were extremely versatile bands who could move from one genre of music to another with such fluidity and ease that it was nearly impossible to pigeonhole them, although many have tried desperately to do so. It's very easy to sit back and say, "Well, the Beatles were a Pop Band and Zeppelin was a Hard Rock band", but their catalogs of music tell a VERY different tale. That analysis barely skims the surface.

Beatles are a band that defy categorizations. led zep were a hard driving band, but with melody and a bent toward catchy hooks, and at times sentimentality and not afraid to go acoustic or experimental when the mood hit them. Bottom line is I enjoy the hell out of both bands legacy and I dont need to play "which ones the best"!
