I got this game when it first came out, it was fun. I really enjoyed the character creation. I think I had more fun doing that than actually playing, but then again Im like that with all games. I like creating backstories and original content. I had some bad creations and some really good creations.

I'm downloading the trial version for my mac right now.

you can blame influence sellers on that. they had to end up putting restrictions on trial accounts to avoid letting "gold sellers" bother their paying players with spam tells. i think it was a needed change.

i don't think you read what i typed. the sellers would advertise in broadcast, and send tells and in-game emails to people about buying gold. so the devs restricted trial accounts from doing those things to stop the gold sellers. it has nothing to do with using their service.

So read what i said again. Gold spammers do not bother you unless youve dealt with them before. For example i only started gettign spammed after i bought a sum of gold. Not once before.

They don't bother you based on if you have bought from them. If you are online at the same time as them, they will see your name on the players list and send you their advertisement asking you to buy gold. They will also write your name down and spam you whenever they send a bot out to advertise. I never bought gold, none of my friends did, and we all had problems with gold spammers. I played the game for over 4 years, I know what I'm talking about. Only idiots buy gold.

Its a bit different in wow, gold farmers dont have a list of players on line bcasue their no such thing in wow mayeby this game. So the way they find you is if youve ever used their services before and im guessing they archive it. BTW i agree buying gold is stupid but it honestly gets old and annoying having to grind about 11k for the new WOTLK mounts.

I have played this game for 1 1/2 years and i am more than satisfied. I've never played WoW but it seems like its alot more of a preference than a matter of what game is better. I love this game. I suggest you all take the 2 week free trial that is offered and try it yourself! Its great!

If you're going to base whether or not you buy the game on the UI that you saw in a YouTube video, I wouldn't want you to get the game anyway.

The UI in the video is about actual size, so unless you're playing on a screen the size of the video you see here, I wouldn't worry about it.
