@KidApp You also forgot venue rental, labour for the workers who setup the event (Chris wont do it by himself), transportation of materials to and from the event, electricity, data. But I guess your extensive knowledge in event organization and coordination would be able to explain all those costs. He's been doing this for 10 years, how long have you been doing this?

I'm with chris sadly i can not go to gnomedex this year i have been 4 other years and LOVED it. You act like yourself and have fun. You can be yourself and people will understand what your talking about. It's the most AMAZING experience. I have been to gonemdex for 4 years and this will be the first time not going...

Im going to Blizzcon this year and its a two day event and tickets are $150 dollars Obviously the extra $150 would be worth it. It will probably cost me $400 dollars for food, ETC
