  • I remember this commercial. I would've ate a big slice of dat cake before I put it in

  • When choosing between cake or death, that lady just chose death

  • I never forgot this commercial. I couldn't believe that woman would bake a cake and then put it in her dishwasher, haha. It looked so delicious! I've had a thing for baking and icing cakes ever since.

  • I can't believe this one is here...I refer to this commercial all the time because it is so ridiculously inane. Really now, even the weakest, most ineffective dishwasher or the cheapest watered down detergent can dissolve a layer cake and have the plate come out clean. Give me an unglazed baking stone and let me bake it with egg yolks, blueberries and mustard...then let's see how amazingly your dishwasher or detergent performs.

  • I want that song in the background. I wonder who the artist is.

  • Miele had this type of commercial in the 70ties I guess.

  • Those were the days, before things got really bad. I really like the music in this commercial. I miss the days of 2000-2001, before things got crazy.

  • this is for you jfer lol, insider ,nsider

  • lol

    This is some good music

  • What was this during?

  • I don't remember.

  • @barber747 I saw it during Jenny Jones on WWOR-TV.

  • It sounds like Whitney Houston's 2001 song "One of Those Days".

  • Okay, first of all, "One of Those Days" was released in late 2002. And secondly, the song in this commercial sounds nothing like the Whitney Houston track. So I don't know what the hell you're talking about!!

  • this commercial made me mad because the lady in it wasted a delicious looking cake:P

  • You shouldn't be that pissed. It's just television.

  • @tunafan1 I was a very young teenager when I saw this. Cake in the dishwasher makes me laugh, rather than making me mad. I know in real life not to do something like that. It still makes me happy inside, to see a relic of happier times, before 9-11, before things got frightening.

  • damn i remember this song and commercial for some reason, i like the weird music its almost relaxing
