  • @DevineCaesar notice their first hit video "Thriller" most were just wearing slippers :). The all black converse was after the filming of This Is It

  • Comment removed

  • I can see this being like "American Idol," but called "Filipino Prison" instead. Every day, they get out and preform, and each time one person is eliminated... and executed, as a means of preventing overpopulation. .__.

  • @blusourskittle

oooppss! There's no death penalty in the Philippines. :)

  • @blusourskittle Man that's just racism

  • @08jinnodelosreyes get over it.

  • go mga pinoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im proud of you.

  • Weird the in Other Prisons. Prisoners don't Synchonize with other Prisoners. Cause of their Peers or Racism issues unlike this Guys that Make us feel that their is a Chance to Shine Just by a Simple 1 2 3 Step.

  • the "P" on their Shirt is not Prisoner.

its Philippines. and they Represent it Proundly. Cheers!

  • I wonder if people commit crimes in the Philippians just so they can join the prison dancers.

  • For crying out, Did all the good dance genes land in the Philippines? This is incredible, I think what Byron has done with these men is incredible. I think it's a protocol that could be adapted into high schools to combat bullying. Music is a unifying language.

  • good idea... :) helps to create community..

  • lol this kinda makes me want to go to jail!

  • the guy wearing converse shoes dances good

  • Are they fucking stupid! Having female inmate out the males. How easy would it be for them to grab one of the females when the offciers aren't looking, then gang rape the shit out of her.

    So stupid.

  • @salotay dont ya worry that wont happen..coz its a strikt asian prison. and besides the womans are scarier than the males out there..

  • @salotay No, you are the one who is fucking stupid? don't you know that they just mix the women only at this kind of event, of course they have different jail assignment! duh. do you think they never think about the possibilities of what you are complaining? or you're just playing stupidity just to say a thing!

  • @hanturocoladriwild Lisen you. I've worked in the department of corrections before, for 5 years. You honestly think just because they are dancing arround that these are decent people? I've personally known kids as young as 15 years old that have commented murder. Nice kid, fun, smiley, and ect. But you can eye the moment when he'll switch on you, and there it is, the killer. That all they need is a moment to get at one of those females, I bet you they're thinking about it.

  • @hanturocoladriwild and more so. I've seen people report rape while there was an officer in the room. It's a big unit and sometimes only 1-2 officer to 70-100 poeple. People get lurd into a cells, or gradded in. The officers can't see everything. But hey, you seen a video, so you know everything right!? Troll

  • love how they had the Who Want's to be a Millionaire theme play at the beginning when he walked in XD

  • Nossa mto da hora !"!

  • If I ever go to prison, this is where I wanna go!

  • @fanniemelander Lol nice right :) hahaha

  • oh thats why people in prison become homo...

    joke, i like it

  • omg super EXELENTE BAILE

  • Seriously cool! Is it for real though, or are they just dancers in orange jumpsuits? Seems too good to be real.

  • @AuroraGreenleaf They are real prisoners from Cebu, Philippines :)

  • I wonder will they dance "Teach Me How To Dougie"?

  • this is....... wierd

  • vwaaaooooooo

  • this is amazing ! GOD BLESS YOU ALL.....

  • énorme. j'ai vraiment adoré.

    merci.

  • I think what their doing is awesome..Their very enjoyable to watch. Its nice to see that instead of hearing all the crule violence in prisons...More prison should pick this idea up.

  • Very good mixer

  • this is the provincial jail in Cebu, and for me this is not a high security prison, this is just a minimal security jail there is however a solitary confinement quarters for those who are really "unruly". we have had an exposure with other seminarians in Cebu accompanied by some nuns and we were able to enter their cells and talk to them, they are nice only that they have done something.

  • this "project" was initiated to help "contain" the inmates after a few of them escaped (because the walls were torn and old), after which the provincial jail was "modernized" and somebody from the administration thought of something funny at that time... i

  • instead of the inmates doing nothing other than talking, since the Philippine government could not afford of giving them "rehabilitation" classes, why not dance, this will have a great psychological impact to the inmates, it is cheap, fun, educational and "rehabilitative"...

  • and behold, it works. for now, I have not heard from the news that an inmate attempted to escape or create trouble since they did not want to miss the dance lessons.

it just show that, although in the midst of problem, if there is something that we can get the fun of why not maximize and capitalize on it instead of sitting in a corner and think of misery.

  • wow..its amazing..,they really have the discipline in dancing..no wonder why they are sensational..even in glee2 where they mention..

  • If this is prison im going to go kill someone to end up there. Bye guys.

  • @withagunxxxx Yes this was excellent,as to your comment, give me a break man:/ > Tell me your joking.

  • wow this is jail ppl ...pretty cool..... its keeping them busy lol

  • i'd like to be in prison just to dance these coreographies

  • unbelievable

  • @umair7598151

    It's real. :)

It's good to see something good from a place where everyone thinks nothing good can come from noh? :D

  • I love how from slippers in the first video, they are now wearing sneakers.

  • Why are these people in a maximum level jail?

How do you pass from an hardened criminal that was concidered too dangerous to be in a regular prison to a fucking syncronized dancer.

    Akward.

  • @QCBEC 'hardened criminals' are people too, they've just done extraordinarily dangerous things. Dancing is not just for our entertainment - it's good for you psychologically. The maximum security jails are the ones that need it most, then, i would think.

  • @madyb94 Yeah i know lol i just find it ironic but hey if they enjoy it its good.

  • @QCBEC yeh it is pretty ironic. they're breaking stereotypes - it's fantastic. hilariously brilliant. :)

  • @QCBEC

These people are changing. And the crimes they committed in the past is passed. :)

  • well this certainly takes the charm out shoplifting,

  • it must have really taken an effort to synchronize, loved it

  • I wonder how much Converse did spend on this amazing commercial. Product placement at it's finest :)

  • i wonder how many of them committed crimes just for the free dance lessons

  • @KienDienn haha....2nd d motion...

  • that's why we are so proud here not just in the cebu but also in philippines,it's just a example that we are in cebu..... we are so UNITED and SYNCHRONIZED and showing to the world that we are EQUAL and PAIR even if you are a criminals.....19KUWAL68...

  • it got weird when the jail tranny got picked up.

  • I love how they are all wearing converse!

  • ther perfect time to start a riot..

  • is that really prison (scared)

  • @Lewisvan1 yes ^^

  • there are women dancers, i'm guessing this isnt a high sercurity prison.

  • Excellent job!

  • This kind of makes me want to go to prison. But not really.

  • where can i get the instrumental version from latikas theme song and jai ho?

  • You guys rock!! loved this dance, please make the most of your precious lives, you can do anything you set your mind to, dream big! your life is worth it.x

  • LMAO GREATEST PUNISHMENT EVER!!! Think about prison culture, its built around a cult of masculinity. You are taking EVERYTHING away from them with forced dancing! Pride, "manhood", even self respect! Well played Philippines! Remember, if they don't want to dance, just beat them a bit!

    wikipedia(dot)org/wiki/Cebu_Provincial_Detention_and_Rehabilitation_Center#Criticisms

  • this is the ultimate punishment for these tough criminals how embarassing and cruel this shud be stopped!

  • It's very touching. The prisoners letting their souls fly for a little while. No one should ever be in prison unless they are a physical danger to others. There is s better way to help people rehabilitate Meanwhile, there is this inspiring dance.

  • we could use that in the US instead of our inmates forming gangs

  • why there are girls?

  • I always fail at not giggling when looking at the "women" dancers.

  • They are the inmates of Cebu, Philippines.. I hope they will be changed to good and could start a new life again...

  • How da hell do dey get da triad members to dance?

  • 161 got assrape in prison!!

  • [X]Like [ ]Dislike

  • "Hi, I'd like to audition for Glee."
