  • I's like to see the haters who post here show us THEIR videos or photos of what they look like before spewing out their ignorant views.

    If you're going to the gym to PROVE something, rather than ACCOMPLISH something, then you're going to get into trouble. There is no advantage whatsoever to doing Free Weight Squats vs. Smith. Never descend lower than parallel, unless you want to blow out your knees. This guy's form is fine, but his focus is more on moving weight rather than attaining results.

  • ....no advantage to free weight squats over smith??? thats a lie, or at least very misinformed. To anyone that comes to youtube to to look up lifting exercises i recomend that you stop. Youtube does have some good stuff, but it is also full of ppl who don't have a clue as to what they are doing. If you want to make sure you are doing something right buy books, or see a local trainer.

    free weights is some much better for your whole body.

    btw i tried smith and i did 150kgs/330 lbs x 8 and i am just turning 15 and i train free weight squats its so much better lol

  • Go all the way down bro...with that range of motion your only working your knee. If you can't go all the way down with that weight lower and start over.
