Being a Gyaru has nothing to do with Para Para culture. It sometimes happens to go hand in hand with the Para Para culture in Japan but no one HAS to be a Gyaru in order to be a Paralist.

Look at pretty much any of the major clubs that were around. Their official dancers weren't Gyaru. That shit didn't start happening until lately because Avex is trying to capitalize on it.
