  • i laughed hysterically through the first one, a lot during the second one, only about a dozen times in the last one.

  • The best song/movie ever made :)

  • best film ever made

  • the name of the song is bufford t justice by jerry reed? I can't find it :(

  • @andrei13mo

jerry reed didn't do any of the music for smokey 3. bandit express was lee greenwood and this was ed bruce

  • finally i found this song...

  • i got my whole ass in good hands. hahaha

  • it was sung by ed bruce i know this for a fact

  • Is that Chris LeDoux singing that song?

  • @hotburrito1 no its ed bruce

  • RIP Jackie Gleason and Jerry Reed

  • Where is the original theme to buford from the first movie?

  • Smokey and the Bandit 3 wasn't as good as the first two.

  • @misshorserider true... 3 was more about Texarkana, Texas sheriff Bufford T. Justice

something I don't care about, cuz he was damn cool

and btw... really bad quality lol, but they have never made a real version I suppose?

  • @misshorserider My opinion, best one was the original.

  • Is das geil!

  • Jerry reed wrote this osng but it was sung by ed bruce, ya can tell thats not jerry reeds voice, i dont like this version though cuz it jumps and has the sound effects ... i have the prooper version of it

  • What's the name of the song? I want it bigtime...

  • Buford T justice it wasnt a big hit like east bound and down

  • so, is it Jerry reed who does this song ?

  • yea

  • I think it was actually Ed Bruce who did the song "Buford T. Justice" in Smokey and the Bandit 3.

  • are you sure because jerry reed did alot of music for the movie i think that song was on one of his records

  • I'm aware of Jerry Reed's extensive affiliation with the Smokey and the Bandit films, but the song in question doesn't sound like it was done by him. Similar, maybe, but I don't think Jerry Reed did this one. If that song is on one of his records, maybe I'm wrong.

It is not an easy song to find- being featured only in Smokey and the Bandit 3, which did not get a good reception, there isn't a lot of information to be found on it.

  • i could be wrong because it was the IT DID get a bad receptation

  • @Jurassic0Al ed bruce wrote the song

  • i don't think jerry reed did any music for S&B 3. Bandit express was done by Lee Greenwood and i'm not sure who did this one but it doesn't sound like reed.

  • @herbie53lover

    he is not lol

  • Too bad Jackie Gleason had to carry the entire movie all by himself.

  • he was my favorite....laughed when he said sum bitch

  • so why did he retire anyway?

  • got old

  • well he gave up soooo sad that he couldnt even catch bandit i guess that bandit is too good to be caught.

  • But in the third movie, at the end, Smokey was about to apprehend the Bandit up until his retirement came back to haunt him again. He didn't even want to retire at all. He stuck to the thing he's best at: hot pursuits.

  • what were his brothers names?

  • gaylord and reggie

  • cool!!
