Will these specs run Unigine? - Betty Crocker Toaster Line 1.4, 1 TB of butter flavored apple toast, 16 GB RAM of Mountain goat (Overclocked with longer horns), and a Nvidia "EYE REALISTIC" graphics card? Or do I have to die first to see heaven?...Just wondering because my calculator I own now seems to run Crysis fairly well. Thanks, - Elmo

I was about to get 2nd Gigabyte GTX 460 before I saw this. My single GTX 460 at 0 8AA, 16AF and tesellation on extream pull 19,4 fps but your setup with 4AF and normal tesellation pull 30.1 isn't it kinda low? Could you run everything max?

The best gtx 460 is the msi very quite and cool with tripe voltage u can reach 900mhz stable and cool

@Quarker99 try enabling tesselation, or setting tesselation higher. The stones should become individually 3D then, instead of being a flat texture :)

At 0:10 seconds, the stone on the floor produces shadows according to their contours. How do you get this? I just get straight-line shadows that don;'t curve on the stone. I've tried everything on max.

Hi nice setup you got, I have a Gainward GTX 460 1 gb version with fabric OC to:

Core: 800 mhz

Memory: 2000 mhz

Shader: 1600 mhz

While playing the card goes up to 73 degree celcius! (fan 40%)

I have a single 460 1 GB, that ran at about 20-30 FPS lows with 50-60ish highs on 3DMark Vantage. Good, bad, okay? System temps are at 35 C idle, not sure how to test under load.

@GamingFever Thanks, I think it will fit in the case, the card isn't very big at all. About airflow though I have no idea, if your case has good airflow now the 460 won't decrease the airflow by much, it's not very hot.

Check out the specs on your case LxWxH and then check the specs of the card to make sure.

Hi, factory overclocked means that the company such as Evga or MSI get a card from nVidia wich are all manufactured to run at 675mhz for F104 (or the 460 series) 700mhz for (480, 470 and 465 the F100) and 700mhz for the (580, 570) All these get tested by the company for Voltage and Temperature efficiency. Once sorted the more efficient cards can be set to higher clock without any issues (such as crashing or rendering artifacts, polygon/texture popping ect.) in bios permanently. :)

If your getting a GTX460 go with Gigabyte's GTX460 1GB version, EVGA ones have a crappy fan, and they charge you extra if its overclocked a little. Just overclock it yourself and save the $30.

Oh and a very nice video this is, I'm getting a Gigabyte GTX460, 4GB OCZ 1600Mhz RAM, Intel Core i5 750, OCZ 600W PSU, and an Antec 300 case so I can build my own PC :D I will post a video of the Unigine Benchmark with my setup as soon as its built.

Hey, I have been thinking of getting a 5870 for my new computer build lately and since a 5870 (where i live) is double the price of x1 GTX 460 I was thinking of getting x2 GTX 460 and put them in SLI instead.

Would this be a smart idea? It's the same price.

@Gothxha Well SLi 460's will beat a single 5870, but Crossfire 5870's will definitely beat SLi 460's.

So if you're gonna upgrade later then go with one 5870 now and then get another later.

But that 700W PSU should be plenty, these cards aren't very power hungry.

Maybe you can help me. I'm buying a new rig, and I have a dilemma:

I wanted to buy a GTX 470, but I'm a bit worried with the heat/power consumption and price. For the same price I can get two GTX 460 768MB (not 1g) cards, and for half the price I can just go with one GTX 460 768MB.

To add to this, ATI should come with the new 6000 series this October, resulting in new cards and price drops. Should I wait?

I'm puzzled what to do. Appreciate your thoughts.

@crimson177 I have an 850W PSU but in most reviews I saw the whole system in SLi only used about 500W, so get 600W just in case.

@crimson177 Well I had 16xAA and 8x Supersampling being foced in Nvidia Control panel, as well as Vsync enabled.

When I only put on 8xAA and 8x Anisotropy @1920x1080 I got 42FPS average.

What were the settings that you used?
