Actually of all the possible animes to make into live action movies or specials....Hellsing is the one that I actually believe would turn out really well. The characters are normal enough to be able to be conveyed by proper actors (with good CG and effects). Anime can get so crazy with its characters like in Dragonball, a real life adaptation can be extremely difficult ending in failure. Blood TLV was actually not bad as a live action movie....except story wise....it would have been great!

Hey, guys, idea...what if the movie is BASED on the 30 year time skip? Like, Seras and Integra's life after the war and before/during Alucard's reappearance?
I wouldn't have much problem with a movie set after the London invasion, but it does raise a question: how would the film deal with the fact that Seras gained massive power and a spooky morphing arm thing during that? It kind of eliminates any threat, a regular game-breaking unbalanced skill. Like having a western series, with the main character weilding a heat-seeking rocket launcher.
@Bluecho4 They could always come up, with a new massive threat. That is super strong, like the Catholics was trying to create a new being to be able to beat kill off all the vamps. However it goes wrong, and starts killing everything.
This may just be me but Cate Blanchett would make a wonderful Integra. Ever see The Golden Age? The scene where she's screaming about 'controlling the winds' gives me chills. She's a beautiful woman and has that strong, dominant aura surrounding her. If anything, she's got the perfect voice.

I think James Cameron got the rights because he could afford them PLUS he's got well made movies under his belt already. I've never heard of the people who wanted to do the LA Hellsing movie. Hey, it's okay. The group didn't get the rights to make the movie so there won't be one. Thank God.
Not to belittle them, it's just there's so much to Hellsing that you would need an A-list production, actor, director, and image team to pull off a decent movie. Not just a group wanting to do a LA spin off.

@ainokusabifan I googled it a while back I think. I'm sure if you did you'd find something on it. I think James Cameron got the rights because he could afford them PLUS he's got well made movies under his belt already. I've never heard of the people who wanted to do the LA Hellsing movie. @Illyria144 This is just a theory without any proof so don't trust me, but I think that they're just going to shoot the part of the story showing one character at a time, and if the first movie is successful enough they'll make a sequel with another characters story.
