Sorry but I don't get the ocean/Clair de Lune thing. It's not really a song that fits the ocean I think. The tempo is a bit bad too. Too "mathematical". You could say it has no soul, no life. Still, thanks for the recommendation. Now I feel like listening to it again.

Sorry but this is horrible. This sounds like it was generated by a synthesizor or came from a music box that you wind up with a key. Also the imagery doesn't go with the title. Claire de lune means moonlight not afternoon at the bay.

That's another problem. The sound of the surf clashes with the melody. It's a very bad combination.

To me this isn't a song for a beach. For me this has always been a "big city at night when everybody is asleep" kind of song, if you know what I mean.

Part 1 of 2 The video is great. The sound, fidelity, and engineering are great. But the piano player is too mechanical . . . there is little interpretation. I love this piece; but, it's about passion and reaching out to a sweetheart (to me, at least). The pianist needs to relax and enjoy what he's playing. He's playing like he is afraid he will mess up.
