  • C'mon; where's the 'personal' logic regarding this party rising? People in Singapore had lived in peace and achieve a world status. What more do you want? Lives are NEVER perfect and people should accept that as a kind of fate. Only if there's been a civil war or harsh socialism, then maybe another opposing party should rise. In Singapore; for what? No offense please but Mr.Jeya should use his ability towards something else; like making his life and family as rich as could and live in peace.

  • What changes did Goh Chok Tong make?? What is it about his "style" that is so different from Lee Kuan Yew?? We all know that throughout the 1990s things remained pretty much the status quo compared to the LKY era, with the PAP still tightly controlling all institutions of the state such as the military, civil service, media as well as grassroots organisations.

  • Good job well done man. You finally catch yourself a big fish. Keep up the good work for freedom and democracy! RIP man. Bye.

  • it is very sad how at 80 years old he ended up selling books at mrt stations & bus interchanges, at the same time LKY just smiling away

  • I knew about this history but what we could do? Slient ~~~ but heart was already told us what kind Of PAP was. So Slient Slient Slient but does not meant we agree what ever PAP done. Time will tell you one day history will change again and it is on 7 May 2011

  • Notice what GCT says at 3:08: "anyone who challenge our RULE..". He thinks he's a ruler of Singapore??

  • those who dislikes this must be a pro-PAP. period.

  • I feel sorry nothing can be done about his plight. However, let us honor his memory and his actions. Spread this around, to your friends, your facebook and to everyone in SG. We will see, we will tear and we will act.

  • I feel like crying when I saw this. When did he sell his books at the mrt stations like that? It saddens me whenever I have read news about him. And I will admit that my apathy had led to this regret.

  • @theufw same here.

  • the speech in response to his death by Lee is incredibly rude

  • LKY acting like he is the Emperor of Singapore. Disgusting!

  • You have my utmost respect Mr Jeyaretnam Rest Well and we will continue your legacy and fulfill your dreams for Singapore's freedom! HOORAH

  • Indeed JBJ holds a special position in every Singaporean's heart who knows who really stands for the Singaporean on the street. Let us do justice to JBJ and what he stood for this election.

  • no different frm being a sch bully.

  • While you sleep the peaceful sleep, we're now preparing to fight the righteous fight. Fearless men and women - amongst them one carrying your name - will stare and laugh in the face of the hatchet man. The tide is turning; you'll be proud.
