"Soy un perdedor" means "I am lost".

The phrase "I'm a loser" doesn't exist in the Spanish language, at least not in a direct translation.

Also, a little side observation. The shirt JMJ is wearing can later be seen on Beck during his 2003 performance at the Reading Festival.

I got my information according to what Beck said to Wayne (of the Flaming Lips) at his Austin City Limits performance when Wayne asked what the chorus meant. Beck said pretty much exactly what I stated in my previous comment. I was just going by what he said.

I don't speak Spanish myself so I could definitely be wrong, but Beck seemed to know what he was talking about.

"soy un perdedor" is exactly the same that "I am a loser", maybe it´s a fault of the verb to be, I mean, for experience with the exchange´s students, some times is difficult because both meanings have their own verb in spanish (ser/estar), so It´s easy to get confused. Anyway, loser is a great song, and Beck an amazing musician...so, that the hell! :)

If any of you did some research you'd find that that is Justin Meldal-Johnson, one of the best session bassists in the music industry. He's played for several bands and solo artists and is currently playing for NIN. He basically acts differently, depending on who he's playign for, and to be totally honest...is there such a thing as over acting with beck? It's Beck..........................­...there's a fucking guy in tights wearing a cape that jumps around the stage when they play 'Minus".
