@tzaunie it doesnt mean you are doing the false grip wrong at all. Just like any area, you can wear away the skins so it will be helpful for you to use athletic tape on the wrists. Good Luck.
I have been trying for a MU for months! I knew I had the strength but I just couldn't figure out the transition. After watching this video I did it on the FIRST try!!!! Now I am doing strict ones in workouts as well. Thank you so much!!
@luan288 I tried to execute your progression the other day and was amazed how difficult it was to me. Even though I can do 15+ pull ups and 6 or 7 with 45 pounds, I evidently am lacking in lat strength at the top of the movement. You hold that high position so easily, I can't hold it for more than a split second.
I obviously need to work much harder on pulling high instead of just pulling for numbers or weight.
@comicbookhero1. If you work on this progression,it will develop the strength, muscle memory and proper activation of the primary muscles need to get you into position rather than just kipping it really hard and potentially having the force that will/or will not put you into proper dip position. This way you minimize the risk of overshooting the dip position and falling forward through the rings.
keep them close. use lats versus internal rotators/subscapularis to get you up!
@AwestaKhalid I just thanked Freddy for spreading the video. I also want to thank you for commenting. Otherwise, i would have never known it was posted @ One World.
Fair play mate, professional tutorial right there. Cheers.

Thank you for actually showing the method behind it. No one show the technique, they just expect it to be done. I'll keep this in mind.

@svanman Did you ever get it?
luan288 11 months ago
@luan288 On the bar, yes (not 100% clean). In the rings, not yet. The grip is my biggest issue right now, I think. I'll let you know when I get it ;)
