This is quite lovely and sweet. I've been a fan of Laurie since '82, really love her work, just saw "Delusion" last night. They certainly look happy in this, and that makes me happy, too.

Lou was and was drugged and given shock treatments for being gay. He was openly gay in the early seventies, and long term lovers with Rachel, a transvestite, and then married a dominatrix who he had a really kinky, S/M relationship with. It seems to me that he's never quite been able to sort all out, but who can blame him, after all that he's been through? I'm glad he's with Laurie now, but think that he'd probably be gay, had he not suffered the abuse.
