  • Hey Lisa, can I see you on Thursday?

    WOW-WE

  • Laurie Anderson is my Idol. Will always be a huge thing for me. R E S P E C T

  • I think lou reed is a asshole . . in the early 1980's he was beatin'n up a fan in montreux which had just rolled a joint for him . . ! !

  • Beautiful.

  • This is quite lovely and sweet. I've been a fan of Laurie since '82, really love her work, just saw "Delusion" last night. They certainly look happy in this, and that makes me happy, too.

  • Lou was and was drugged and given shock treatments for being gay. He was openly gay in the early seventies, and long term lovers with Rachel, a transvestite, and then married a dominatrix who he had a really kinky, S/M relationship with. It seems to me that he's never quite been able to sort all out, but who can blame him, after all that he's been through? I'm glad he's with Laurie now, but think that he'd probably be gay, had he not suffered the abuse.

  • Lou Reed is a lucky man to have Laurie in his life. Laurie is really a true artist and I hope she will never stop performing.

  • agree ... they are both quite luky actually

    *winks*

  • they married recently :)

  • I've always loved this song, but after watching Lou and Laurie perform it together it transforms from an isolated account of a possible line of introspection into the communication of an intimate exploration of the dynamics of a relationship between two lovers. The song is given new life.

  • @Gmapchannel do you mean they fancied a 'bit'?

  • lou's voice is brilliant in this video

  • oh my

  • how'd you find this?

    Terrific stuff.

  • Tum dum dum... tum dum dum... hang to your emotions...

  • had to come back to this song, beautiful!

  • very nice!

  • poor poor reed, matrimonium-manicomium

  • thanks once again warwick for this great vid.she is so lovely and her smile is devine.i bet they make good music off stage too.

  • genius at work :-)

  • Love it, really nice to see them working together and enjoying it so much. Waiting for her Homeland performance in my area next month. Thanks for posting this!

  • The dark prince sings his girl a dark lulaby.

  • well spoken

  • so true.

  • Where is the interview??

  • oh WOW this is SO Kewl!!!

AMAZING to see laurie smile in a very different way. shez 'let her hair down' from her usual hi tech material and gone with lou... very simple & relaxed! 'shez taking "an emotional walk on the wild side" maybe? looks like she adores mr reed ... just a look i've never seen on her face. makes me SO happy to see...

  • Very accurate comment. I agree 100%. May they live happily for a long time !

  • ;-)

  • She's been going out with Lou Reed since 1990...Now they are married.

  • i know - i've followed all the news & watched other vids:) i was SO happy to hear they had a quiet wedding away from the madding crowd!!! :)

  • As far as I've heard they've only been going out together since the mid / late 1990s. And they look *really* in love here - they are both absolute professionals and either can't or don't want to hide it.

  • And Mr Reed looks like he adores Ms Anderson...

  • My dearest friends and musicians

  • I think the violin sounds ok

  • It looks like there is going to be an interview after the song finishes, I would love to see it, does anyone have it?

  • Great!!!!!

  • Thanx for sharing: I'd never seen a double gig of them! Although the violin sounds a bit off place... But why wait 11 years ;-)
