  • Perfect choice of music to accompany the incredible imagages. It captures the essence of the brave and skillful men and women who led the way to build this great nation of ours. I like the way you edited this film. The panning into the pictures proficiently timed to the energetic tune is a moving experience.

  • Thank you much Bill Dude.

  • Let me add:

Five stars for the idea, five stars for images and edits, and five more for the tune selection -- maybe not all at once, but as time and the system allows!

    Wow.

  • Now Bob, this here is what I'm talking about!

This is a great video. I'm impressed not only by the time and labor and skill involved, the editing, etc., but also the meaning, the selection of scenes and, let me add, the tune choice.

On the tune: this is a cool version of 28th of January, and by its style I must say it is played by either North Carolina musicians or, more likely to my ear, West Virginia musicians.

  • Not sure myself where they are from, but I love it.

Thanks for the cool comments. yup, I like editing and this one was a long project. Very rewarding. Thank you very much:)

  • I didn't notice the first time, in the beginning credits, but Jake Krack learned under Melvin Wine, and then Lester McCumbers, over there in... West Virginia, by golly.

  • Awesome.

  • No Phones, No Lights, No Motorcars.....Now that's livin! Times sure ain't like they used to be....Thanks for the great journey into the past Mossy.

  • Thank you!

I'm going to stay in this video, and never come back out again;)

  • But wait... that would mean no more videos and uploads from you! Don't do it. As a twist on "Think globally, act locally," I urge you to "Think historically, act contemporarily." (Then again, I really don't like slogans.)

  • ;D

    Good one.
