You are correct in saying there is no perfect plan. My husband died here in the U. S. at 67 because of misdiagnose, it wasn't because a lack of health care. I have seen several u- tubes on people waiting 9 and 10 months in Canada for a cat scan that would have saved their life. I guess it is just a matter of opinion. Costly I'm sure.

If it was found out that people were dieing because of the wait times on CAT scans or MRI scans there would be a public out cry. Check with some of Canada's victim's of their health care system and Englands and see if that is what you want in America. I'm happy (as a Senior with Medicare) however, Medicare is broke. How is this country going to make Universal Health Care affordable. They will have to ration good health care and control all of us. I am Canadian and I'm very happy and proud of our health care system. I have had lots of experience with it having a couple of conic health problems. I have only ever had to wait for a Bone scan for over a week once, but it was not a urgent matter, if it was I would have been in that day, it was just to check if i could start on a new drug. We don't have a perfect system, but no one is ever turned away or goes bankrupt paying medical bills. look into the US horror stories too while you research.

Individuals and families will merely be invited to compare costs and outcomes. I propose a new bill to congress: No salary rise or pay increase can be invoked unless done so by voters at the poles. No congressman, president, or any other politician can take with them on termination (being voted out at the poles) a severance pay greater than two months salary. I lived in Belgrade (you pronounced it wrong). You're wrong about everything. It's about 11 miles from Bozeman, one of the most populous cities in Montana. Belgrade itself has over 8,000 people - not large, but far from remote. It takes 2 minutes to get that information accurately (ie not from your "source"). The propaganda is you. You are correct in saying there is no perfect plan. My husband died here in the U. S. at 67 because of misdiagnose, it wasn't because a lack of health care. I have seen several u- tubes on people waiting 9 and 10 months in Canada for a cat scan that would have saved their life. I guess it is just a matter of opinion. Costly I'm sure.

waiting for treatment can some times be frustrating, but every death in our hospitals are investigated. If it was found out that people were dieing because of the wait times on CAT scans or MRI scans there would be a public out cry. Also unlike the states our media would jump all over this story and any attempt to cover it up.
I think for the most part those videos are form people that have lost someone and are looking for someone or thing to blame, when it was just that they were sick.

In that video it seemed like there were more people in favor of health care reform then against it and they all didn't get a ticket. As well the people that were against it were calm and reasonable, and made good points if what they said was true(not that they were lying, but possibly misinformed.). hardly the angry mobs that showed up at other town halls.

Aside from hard evidence to support the OP video, which I agree is limited, he has clearly stated in the past that he wants a single payer system. Health-care has always been the gateway to socialism. I've read over 300 pages of the bill and it's pure BS. They want total control and they've worded so they can swing any "battle" to their advantage.

Check with some of Canada's victim's of their health care system and Englands and see if that is what you want in America. I'm happy (as a Senior with Medicare) however, Medicare is broke. How is this country going to make Universal Health Care affordable. They will have to ration good health care and control all of us. I am Canadian and I'm very happy and proud of our health care system. I have had lots of experience with it having a couple of conic health problems. I have only ever had to wait for a Bone scan for over a week once, but it was not a urgent matter, if it was I would have been in that day, it was just to check if i could start on a new drug. We don't have a perfect system, but no one is ever turned away or goes bankrupt paying medical bills. look into the US horror stories too while you research.

I think I know why they might bring lobster.
It is a live food that can be easily transported, and cooked with minimal preparation. It has to be fresh as it is alive when you put it in the pot. Therefore they don't have to worry about it being contaminated or poisoned. Even a case of food poisoning could cause all sorts of problems (even death).
I am sure they will eat plenty of steak too. If I was a cow I would be a little nervous with all those folks coming to town.

I don't know where it was held, but the town itself has an infrastructure to support visitors. If the meeting was really remote in Montana, they'd have to bring in fema camps for people to have a place to stay. (that's a joke... or is it??!!)
