nice rifle....one suggestion though, for transporting, take the ammo & mags out of the case the rifle is in....could save you some hassle
oh & also, get to the range and sight it w/o & w/optics, if you have or intend to get some.
and as a sidenote, remember with the .223 your effective range is not more than a couple hundred meters and thats only if you practice....spraying & praying is not an option with limited ammo except as last resort

@Choncho203 American Eagle is Federal/Lake city. It is the BEST quality ammo to put through your gun. Get XM855 instead of 193. 855 is the actual 5.56, 193 is 55gr .223, 855 is 62gr. 855 is also a little more accurate
Nice gun... How do you go about buying a gun like that? I live in PA. currently I only have a 12gu shotgun. Do you need a gun permit? And where could I test fire a gun like that. I would be nervous shooting it in the country. We have gun show in the area so I might goto one to check out the guns.
@2010purple Well I don't know the laws in PA but here in Arizona they sell them at gun stores. I bought mine from Sportsmans Warehouse. The only permit I need is the United states constitution :-) When I bought the gun I had to go threw a background check and that was it. They called me the next day saying come pay and pick up you gun you're approved. Gun shows are a good way to go. We don't have many here so that's why i bought from a store.
