Well, when she was first starting in her whole music life, she sent CDs out to her friends with a few songs, one of the Lullabye for a Stormy Night. One of these people had a daughter who loved Lullabye so much, that she drew a picture of it and sent it to Vienna. Vienna then wrote this song as kind of a thank you gift. She sometimes refers to it as a "Lullaby for someone [she] I never met"
