I personally think that Fall Out Boy did the better cover. Flyleaf's singer is generally good, but I wasn't a fan of the overtone of sorrow/pain her voice brought to that cover, and their version felt lethargic compared to the original. This one keeps the original energy while still sounding unique - which I like. Those are just my opinions though.

Okay, I like both Flyleaf's and Fall Out Boy's version of this song. HOWEVER, I like this version better for multiple reasons. Other than the bias of FOB being my favorite band, I love how they managed to capture the same essense of the original song, yet it still feels like Fall Out Boy. They did a great job covering it! It can be explained how Jack knows what mistle toe is, but in one line he say there is "white sthings in their air", and then later on he sings about "children throwing snowballs". If he knows what a snowball is, why doesn't he know what snow is?

I think that both Fall Out Boy and Flyleaf made it their own. To compare them and say one is better is impossible, like comparing a painting to a photograph. It's good the way Fall Out Boy made it because it shows excitement yet Flyleaf made it scary. I can't choose which one I like better. I can listen to them both all day :]
